Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Twitch is one of my favorite champions to play, for countless reasons. He has really high attack speed, and can often lead your team to a win. However, with twitch, you are either really good, and lead your team to a win, or your horrible. often resulting in entire game losses.
- Very fast attack speed
- Lots of damage late game
- Squishy as hell
- Often targeted first
- Somewhat hard to play
- Need to conserve mana at times
Ignite is a great way to finish off escaping enemies, and can get you easy kills earlier in the game.
Exhaust is simply amazing. Great for chasing down escaping enemies, or running away from enemies chasing you.
Other Useful Skills
This would be my next choice if i had to choose. Flash. Great for last hitting, chasing and escaping with.
Twitch is INCREDIBLY squishy, so this skill might help you in the game.
Deadly Venom- Twitch's attacks infect the target with Deadly Venom, which deals damage each second, stacks up to 6 times, and lasts up to 8 seconds.
Very nice passive. The poison really does a lot, in finishing off enemies.
Ambush - Twitch hides in the shadows, waiting for a nearby enemy. If he attacks, he will gain bonus attack speed.
After 1.25 seconds, Twitch becomes stealthed for 20/30/40/50/60 seconds. If Twitch attacks a unit while Stealthed, he gains 30/45/60/80/100% attack speed for up to 10 seconds, depending on how long he was stealthed before attacking.
Okay. this is my all time favorite skill that twitch has. Great for setting up ganks, or escaping from enemies. Also, The attack speed you get is simply amazing.
Even if they buy Oracle elixers, stay in stealth for the attack speed you get when you exit it.
Debilitating Poison - Infects all nearby champions with Debilitating Poison, slowing their movement speed.
Slows nearby enemy champions' move speed by 30%, plus 6% per Deadly Venom they have.
2.5/3.25/4/4.75/5.25 second duration.
This is great. It slows an escaping enemy champion enough to usually kill him/her.
Expunge - All nearby enemies secrete Twitch's toxic venoms from their bodies, dealing damage for each stack.
Deals 30/60/90/120/150 (+1) magic damage to each nearby poisoned enemy, plus 20/30/40/50/60 additional damage per stack of Deadly Venom applied to them.
This is the perfect way to kill an enemy. go up behind them, come out from your stealth, and when they try to run away, use your slow, and a couple of auto attacks and expunge will usually net you the kill.
Spray and Pray - Twitch closes his eyes and fires his crossbow as fast as he can, spraying piercing arrows ahead of him.
Twitch gains 40/60/80% attack speed and his attacks become long range line missiles for 7 seconds, dealing 100% damage and poisoning all enemies hit.
I usually don't use this skill very often, but it's a nice skill to have none the less. The range is just ridiculous, and if your enemies are lined up nicely, feel free to use this and get an easy triple kill,Quadra kill, or even kill all 5 of them.
I start with a Vampiric Scepter
The lifesteal is nice early game.
Farm a bit, and then save up for Berserker Greaves
Farm a little bit more, and turn yourinto a
Save up for a BF Sword
Then, buy a Last Whisper.
The armor pen. and Attack speed of the whisper is great for you.
Once you can afford it, turn your BF sword into a black cleaver.
There you go. Your build is officially done. However, if your game is particularly long, You may want to buy a bloodthirster.
It will eventually give 100 AD, and you don't even want to know what could happen with that! >:D
Stages Of The Game
During the laning phase, try to stay behind your partner, and harass as much as you can. NEVER chase the opponent into a tower. You are incredibly squishy, and it doesn't take a lot of tower shots to take you down early game. Just stay back, and harass, until you are sure you can take the kill. Keep laning until you see fights breaking out. thats when you're middle game starts. Oh, and during the beginning, try getting the golem buff, as you will be low on MP most of the times.
Try to set up as much ganks as possible. find a vulnerable target on the map, and communicate with your teammates to kill that champion. Keep doing this.
Okay. When team fights break out, start using your ult when you can. it passes through all enemy champions, and can kill, or severly damage others. However, make sure you stay behind your teammates, as you will probably be annoying and will be targeted first. If you win the team fights, push the towers. If you lose, well... just play defensively then.
I hope this build works for you as it does for me. Have fun, and tell me what you think!
