Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
this build is weird, i understand that, however it works well if you work on your skill shots
so as for runes: the attack speed kinda goes without saying that you need to be able to lay down some hurin if ur pullin them to you, this is sometimes the difference between one hit and two as they scurry away
the cooldown reduction is incredibly helpful, especially if ur trying to keep teh other team wary in the laning period, and late game its going to be a huge asset, aslo being able to use all of your abilities that much more often will help a TON.
the seals are kinda a hodgepodge i accept, but the dodge runes are a huge help in survivability, and the mana regen is important with a champion with so few MPs.
i always get the grab first: its his trademark skill, its good for pulling people into towers and getting FB before the minions spawn, its surprising how many morons on the blue team will let you rope them into the tower
power fist should be waiting for anyone getting grabbed by ur rocket grab after level 2, there's no reason not to (remember together thats 165 mana together) in fact you can light up the punch first so you don't have to frantically hit it as the enemy is flying through the air
after this max out overdrive asap, the reason for this is that there are no boots in this build, not till way later if ever: you need the speed boost to compensate for that lack of speed, its also awesome for pushing towers (power fist doubles ur damage to towers too) just remember not to get stranded with the underdrive as the towers shooting at you, anticipate the slow and ditch at super speed before it happens.
so the main point of this build is gettin the warmog as fast as humanly possible, then u should be milking it for all the health you can get out of it, use ur ult on hordes of minions (yay CDR runes) use ur overdrive on them, use your power fist-u want the max health for a few reasons. firstly is survivability, second theres not a ton of armor items here, just one chain vest, you NEED the life. thirdly and most importantly: atma's impaler. this lovely items turns ur life into power, if you have been diligent with ur warmog, you should be getting upwards of 50 or 60 damage increase as you finish it, more or less a 150% boost, power fist brought up to a relative 300%, not bad huh?
as you proceed with health items and lvling up, u should see ur damage starting to get ridiculous (i like to start getting the frozen mallet at this point, its a lot of health and the slow don't hurt none) don't worry that your attack speed isn't through the roof, you really aren't going to need it much-its really all about that one sharp crack that sends then into the lower atmosphere (try to finish with your ulti too, its rage is surprisingly far)
once you have thw warmog and the impaler, its really time to go to town, i LIKE the FM, but its really not taht important at this point, the game may end before you're getting FM, gaurdian angel triforce ect ect ect, but its not too too hard to get the first two important pieces: armor and spear
once you have these, snag away, scoop them into the tower, punch them so the tower gets another couple hits, or keep them up in the air so the team can go to town on them, chances are actually fairly good that u can get the last hit with a well timed ulti if you are sick of getting 15 assists and no kills
also very important: unlike most skill shot attacks, the projectile doest actually start from your center, it starts from your right hand, so if you are clever, you an use this to your advantage, try to fight your way around the mob of baddies counter clockwise, so as to bring your grabbin hand around into a firing position where nothings in the way
