Threats to Teemo with this build
|Nidalee||Ever since her rework she is a terrifying threat against most top laners, not for you though. If she jumps on you block her cougar form Q damage with your Q and then just fight her.|
Hi, this is Comm4nderX4nder and I am actually an adc main. However, you don't always get to play your main role so when I have to top than I use this build. I usually have pretty good success with it and am able to almost always win lane and scale well into the late game with this build.
For my summoner spells I almost always go for ignite and flash for better kill potential and for a solid escape mechanic. However, if you're against a dangerous lane then you might want to consider heal over ignite so you have higher survivability and can farm up without dying.
These runes are used to provide resistances to give you tankiness in and out of lane while also giving the extra damage from the quints for trading while in lane. The hybrid pen marks are used because as your leveling your E and building AD you are dealing a large amount of both magic and physical damage so being able to penetrate through both of their resistances is very helpful.
Even though spell and blade weaving work with your E damage I have found that by being tankier and have the cc reduction from the 21 points in defense is more helpful and scales you better throughout the game. Other than this your masteries are pretty basic, getting you flat AD and bonus minion damage from the offense tree.
These items are used to provide high survivability, good split push and excellent trading. The build order is almost always BORK, Merc Treads, Mallet, Randuin's, Runaan's, Spirit Visage but can be changed depending on needs. BORK and frozen mallet provide you a good amount of AD while also giving you excellent sustain, good attack speed, good kiting potential and some bonus HP. Merc Treads are almost always bought because of the tenacity bonus which makes you a lot tankier. At level 6 you should always swap out your trinket for a sweeper lens and then later upgrade it to an oracle's because you can always just use shrooms as wards. After this, Randuin's is usually bought to provide tankiness and the slow for increased kite which is then followed by Runaan's for more split pushing, trading and team fight potential. Finally, the build is usually completed with a Spirit Visage which provides more tanky stats and also increasing your lifesteal. You can also substitute this with a GA but this will make you not as tanky.
Teemo is an excellent farmer because of the bonus flat magic damage that his E gives to his autos. Try to not to miss farm and also always attempt to blind your opponent as they last hit cannon minions to deny them that gold.
Overall, Teemo is an excellent top laner that has many uses. With Runaan's his teamfight is good, using his blind and BORK active he can usually kill the enemy ADC in fights and his laning and split pushing is also excellent.
