Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello everyone! This is a build of my invention to present a tanky warwick that can assist his team in late game and sustain at his lane during laning phase! I hope you find it useful!
The rune composition is how it is in order to offer WW high chances of owning an 1v1 fight on his top lane! Some may challenge the magic pen runes but in fact they are very useful as WW deals mainly magic damage! In order for this build to work perfectly the runes can be different according to your own taste! Just keep a tanky profile!
As long as youfocus in WW's sustainability there is no problem with alternating the masteries a bit! Especially the mana regen ones can be replaced by restricted and yet effective usage of Q! For the new ones to WW keep mana regen as there is a great tendence of non-stop Q usage!
In this chapter i would like to present the need of each item separately! Please try to keep the order unless the enemy team is SPECIAL!
-Doran's Shield is a typical starting item for solo top laning and helps WW stay more up there!
-I suggest taking boots of speed and cloth armor instead of straight buying Ninja Tabi since it is way useful to build some Life between them! If the opponent thrives on basic attacks then rush the tabi
-Sunfire Cape is a very popular item that scares squishy enemy champs during the laning phase and also assists low dmg tanks like WW clear the minion waves more easily!
-Wit's End... Should i say more? Basic attack stacking is perfect for WW! This item was made to stack with his passive!
-Frozen Heart grants WW survivability againsts assasins and ADCs since you will probably buy it once teamfights have started
-Spectre's Cowl is not mandatory but could be useful against fed Magic Dmg dealers during teamfights
-Randuin's Omen is a must mainly because it gives extra life which the build doesn't include earlier and because of the OP passive
-Spirit Visage is a misunderstood item which many people rush! Apart from the low health regen ALL the other features of this item are mainly for the late game!
Typical sequence so there is no need to analyze it! Just respect the Q and don't use it all the time!
These spells suit WW perfectly in almost every case! If you play ranked and you oppose a turret destroyer thry taking Teleport instead of Ghost! As a matter of fact Teleport suits the Jungle WW too! Combined with immidiate ult!
Pros / Cons
Pros: -Sustainability, High Damage in late game, Perfect assistant for his team with R!
Cons: - Low movement speed, can be easily stopped by all cc effects! That's the main reason people don't use WW nowadays...
Creeping / Jungling
Try to care about cs as the build is rather expensive and you need to rush it! Also try to earn exp from creeping until you Max your Q which can heal you and secure the kill! Cs is really hard with this build however cause of thelow dmg! That's why i suggest some AD runes!
This build provides you with a champion who will be there for his team till the end of teamfight and protect his lane among with pushing top almostagainst every Champion! Although i prefer less tanky WW and AP WW this kinda playing is the most useful for ranked games! Thank you for your time! I hope I assisted you!
