Everything is wonderfully detailed and explained. The match-up section is superb! I would really love to see some updates in the following two things though:

• more champion match-ups
• update old stuff, like for example when you talk about the mana regen from Will of the Ancients

Because Swain isn't exactly a burst mage and he needs survivability which Zhonya's Hourglass provides.

Can anyone please explain to me why Swain builds Zhonya's and not Deathfire Grasp?
Is it merely because of the 2.5 second invulnerability? I've been playing a lot of swain and I think the combo of E, Deathfire Grasp, Q, Ignite is very strong, I often have trouble early game getting kills also.. any advice??

Any tips vs ap kog? There is like nothing I could do expect dodge for my life after six. What should I start against him? Most start flask and if I start ring he will simply out sustain me.

Thanks for the answer man! It makes sense, another question tough, can I go Zhonyas and Rabaddon before WoTA? Lately, the easier opponents I've fought were Ahri and Orianna, since Ap becomes Health I think this could allow for a more aggressive early and follow up by getting the absurd health regeneration just before the team fights, do you think this is effective? Or the trade just isn´t as good as it sounds?

I prefer ignite as Swain has too much potential to make plays and just snowball his mid game.
Vs some super hard match ups I might consider it, but considering they removed the "remove grievous wounds" parts, Its very much low on my priorities to get.

As for Catalyst rush, I would start with HEalth crystal as opposed to mana. Swain doesnt have mana issues in laning phase if you last hit correctly for the most part (At least, by the time you get issues you'll have items to address it)

Hey Soviet, do you think it's viable to start with Saphire and pots against a easy target, because it makes rushing RoA very easier, also whats your opinion on the new Heal spell? Do you think that it is useful? Or ignite is still way better?
