Decent guide, but I prefer going Urgot top without Manamune.

Instead I build more tanky, going brutalizer, mercury, glacial shroud, guardian angel and a hexdrinker. With full ArP runes you do enough damage to be able to kill AD/AP-carries and I don't feel like the mana is an issue.

True.
You get a TF too?
Don't agree that CDR is vital, and I think using Atmog's as a second option is a little weak (it's a second option for everyone).
Ignoring this, +1.

Very helpful guide! I love playing Urgot, but keep hearing how he's awful, how once the laning phase is over he's useless, and it's great to see that he really does have his uses.

A few questions:

1) What's your Elo around in those ranked games you posted?

2) Any replays that you have to share? I'd love to see this in action.

3) Do you instalock Urgot basically, or is there a specific kind of composition either with your team or the opposing team where you say "Man, this is really not a good game to be Urgot" (or conversely "Yes! My Urgot here will totally fit with x composition"/"totally counter x opposition")?

Thanks!

Okay to be honest i just call my lane, I choose top as my first priority if it gets taken i say i will play Urgot bot. Hmm i do have replays where i would win a 2v1 lane because someone left. It happened twice if you want me to post it up just tell me. My elo is around 1400 only because i played other champs and failed hard with them, if i played just Urgot i would be at a different level.

You seem to be extremely extremely experienced with Urgot so I'm sure u know much more about Urgot than me. However, I'm curious, why no Last Whisper for ArPen and won't IE force him to move into his pathetic 425 AA range, which won't make full use of his massive range on Acid Hunter?

Oh, and BlaanXz, Acid Hunters work with spellvamp and not lifesteal.

Well i choose to infinity edge late game because his Q will only do for about 300 each
But since your already tanky with banshees and frozen heart you wont die easily and can just auto attack champs for 500-700 crits.

Pretty good guide, makes me wanna try him in ranked now instead of just normal. would swapping anything out for life steal help or is the life steal not even suitable on him?
