Urgot Build Guide by bigfatcow

Used this build on my very first game as Urgot and completely dominated mid. It's a really nice build and I now understand how much of a bully Urgot can be.

Got me a quad today. Drops squishies lightening fast with this build.

Well!!

I played 2 ranked games...tried urgot for the first 2 times.

I wasn't so sure how this would go...I didn't feel like urgot was my type of AD Carry BUT I took at look at this guide and I LOVE HIM.

First was soraka and (urgot) vs Ashe and fizz... (yeah I dunno why a "support" fizz")...TOTALLY dominated my lane.

The next game it was blitzcrank and I (urgot, again) vs Cait and Taric...Now here I had a hard time with cait's traps and taric's stuns but for the most time I was able to out-zone cait...the problem was she was outsustaining me. That meant that as soon as I was out of mana, she's jump on me like crazy and out-farm me. I dunno if maybe you can help me with that?

Anyways, results:

First game: 5/5/4
Second game: 8/4/19

I got my cousin hooked on LoL, and guess which champ he started playing in his first PvP match? Urgot. I made some changes to this build though, because of the opponents he was facing... Ziggs, Cho'Gath, Zilean, Master Yi, and Malphite.

Here's the item order he used (with some suggestions by me):

Meki Pendant + 2 Health Potions, Tear of the Goddess, Boots of Speed, Manamune, Mercury Treads, Last Whisper, then he started on a Hextech Gunblade.... the enemy team surrendered before 25 minutes had passed. His score? 17/0/5.

I dunno about you, but I think that's pretty darn good for a first time Urgot, for a first PvP match.

Hi there, as I mentioned in my guide, Urgot can only duo lane well with a few supports, and Blitz, even with his amazing amount of CC, is not one of them. He has absolutely nothing that gives you sustain, which is something you need badly. However, I think there are some ways u can conserve mana.

Firstly, never use Acid Hunters to farm unless absolutely necessary (when you are sure that the creep will die b4 your nxt auto attack hits). Only use it to harass the hell out of Caitlyn.
However, if you still are running out of mana because Taric's heals are too much, you can probably save mana and not harass until lvl 5, when your Acid Hunters really start to hit like trucks. Bot AD carries aren't that thick and they'll probably be dead or really near death in one cycle.

But, overall, you shouldnt really be playing Urgot bot lane unless you're duo queuing with a support who you know is good, and fits Urgot's play style. Hope this helps.
