Item Get!
This one’s more geared towards getting attack damage quickly. Special notes would have to be get manamune asap; its effect is better based on how quickly you can aquire it. To that end I might suggest getting it before which boots you require at the time. You’ll notice I listed Mercury’s Treads on the build; however which boots you choose are entirely situational. If you need to shorten stuns Merc’s treads are great, however ninja tabi are better for fighting melee-oriented teams, etcetera. Other than that, I’d suggest getting Phage first while working towards trinity force, because zeal is attack damage, and sheen is AP, however in certain situations, where you want to hit more quickly to do more damage, choosing zeal first is viable. Also Sheen is good if you find yourself constantly out of mana. After this point you can continue to stack AD; or if you keep on dying in team fights go for Guardian angel before investing in last whisper/ Black Cleaver. That’s all.
I've got some alternatives to this build that are purely changes to the items. Check them out if you're interested in different play styles.
Urgot's a beefy long range dps, so play him like one. Early game heckle your enemies at range with acid hunter, using your noxian charge to fire homing acid hunters. To take full advantage of this, since you'll probably hit more than one dude with your charge, hover the cursor over your intended target to ensure your homing attack honing in on the right target. Other than that, which is the bread and butter of playing urgot, use your shield to either help yourself flee or slow down enemies chasing your friends or you with its slowing effect, or just use it to absorb a hit or two.
His ult is a great way to stop fleeing enemies, pull them into your group, and pull people into range of your turret. Be wary, when you pop up surrounded by team of the enemy you switched with, you'll be smacked around a lot. Pop your shield and flee, if possible.
