Hello and welcome to my Urgot guide. I know you probably hate my build and are planning to vote this down but please read what I have to say about it maybe I can change your mind!

Pros / Cons


  • Best laner
  • High early game damage output
  • Needs solo lane
  • Ultimate usually secures a kill

  • People say solo top Urgot is troll and he belongs bot lane

I take the 4 points in Sorcery rather than vamprism and Lethality in the offense tree because it benefits Urgot more. I personally do not like critical strike chance and lifesteal on Urgot because Urgot's damage isn't through his basic attacks but through his Acid Hunter which does not apply on hit effects.

I take Expanded Mind and Meditation for extra mana and spamability (it's a word!) in lane and 2 points in Swiftness rather than taking 2 points in Havoc because even though it is a very small amount of movement speed, Urgot has no escape mechanism and needs to use all the movement speed he can get.

I take greater mark of desolation and greater quintessence of desolation for obvious reasons and I highly recommend those.

A lot of people might argue about my glyph and seal choice. I prefer greater seal of replenishment and Greater Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction. greater seal of replenishment is great for spamming abilities in lane and Greater Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction is great because with enough cooldown reduction you can easily hit 3 locked on acid hunters after hitting Noxian Corrosive Charge and HYPER-KINETIC POSITION REVERSE has a very long cooldown.

Summoner Spells

Flash This summoner spell is a must for Urgot. He lacks mobility and a flash ult is a great initiation for a teamfight.
Ghost I like this spell on Urgot because if Flash is down he still has no mobility as usual. Without Flash and Ghost it will be hard to live from a gank.
Ignite I don't like this spell on Urgot because you will usually not even be in range of ignite while you kill your opponent because of you crazy long range. Take this if you really need the killing power.
Exhaust This spell is better than Ignite on Urgot in my opinion because when you exhaust them you will be able to land a lot of acid hunters but I still don't like this on Urgot because he already has a built in slow.

Skill Sequence

Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter:

Urgot's autoattacks and Acid Hunter reduce all damage that his target deals by 15% for 2.5 seconds.

Urgot's passive is very simple. Al you have to do is land a basic attack or Acid Hunter which is very easy. There are really no tricks or tips to this passive besides when you are fighting somebody, make sure you attack them...

Acid Hunter:

Urgot fires a missile in a line towards the cursor, dealing physical damage to the first enemy it hits. His passive is also applied to the target.
Missile-lock can be achieved by holding the cursor over a unit afflicted by Noxian Corrosive Charge when casting, causing Acid Hunter to fly directly to the target ignoring other units. It will lock onto invisible units afflicted by Noxian Corrosive Charge including mushrooms, but it will not reveal targets hit.

This is your new basic attack. When you fight some one, spam this ability. Once you have Manamune you can spam this nonstop. Avoid using basic attacks rather than Acid Hunter remember you aren't playing as an ad carry, you're playing as Urgot!

Terror Capacitor:

Urgot charges up his capacitor to gain a shield that absorbs damage for 7 seconds. While the shield is active, Urgot's autoattacks and Acid Hunter missiles will slow targets for 1.5 seconds.

This is nice for when you're focused and hextech's gunblade makes this very strong. The slow is great too when chasing down enemies with your locked on Acid Hunter.

Noxian Corrosive Charge:

Urgot launches a corrosive charge at a target location, afflicting all targets hit. Enemies afflicted by the charge have their armor reduced by a percentage for 5 seconds and take physical damage over the duration.

One you hit your opponent with this ability in lane they will run like a baby. If they are in the fog of war you can still hit them if your mouse is over them with a locked on Acid Hunter. Your locked on Acid Hunter has increased range and damage so be sure to hit Noxian Corrosive Charge."It will lock onto invisible units afflicted by Noxian Corrosive Charge including mushrooms, but it will not reveal targets hit", so you can hit Twitch or Evelynn while stealthed.

Hyper-Kinetic Position ReverseHyper-Kinetic Position Reverse:

Urgot targets an enemy champion and channels for 1 second, suppressing the target for the duration. If the channel completes, Urgot and the target will swap positions and the target will be slowed by 40% for 3 seconds. Urgot also gains bonus armor and magic resistance for 5 seconds, starting from the beginning of the channel time.

This is a great initiation to team fights and will get you tons of kills in lane. One of the best ultimates in the game. If you have a Nunu, then you can swap into his ult, if you have Shaco ult them into shaco boxes, if you have an Alistar, Poppy, Blitzcrank and Lee Sin you will be able to push and pull the enemy all the way to your fountain.

My Item Choices And Explanation:

vs. vs.
I usually counter build my opponent. If they are AP, I go merc treads, if AD I go ninja tabi but if I am just kicking their *** I will go boots of lucidity.

Urgot relies on Acid Hunter so he should always have mana for it. This iwll give him all the mana he needs as well as some attack damage.

I prefer Hextech Gunblade mainly because of the Spell Vamp. Acid Hunter is an ability therefore it doesn't work off of lifesteal but off of Spell Vamp. The entire lifesteal part of bloodthirster will be useless, and same with the gunablade but gunblade's passive is very strong and will help you when Acid Hunter is on cooldown an dyour shiled will actually be a good defense mechanism. You probably think this is stupid but when you fight some one you will heal a lot from spell vamp and it's really useful.

Frozen Heart
Gives a lot of cooldown reduction which Urgot needs. Also gives him high armor and mana which will give more attack damage thanks to manamune's passive.

Gives great magic resist and a godlike passive. Gives health for more tankiness and mana which will give more damage.

Will help you live when you swap into the enemies. Will make you unkillable in teamfights and be able to take a lot of damage.

Early Game

Keep throwing Noxian Corrosive Charge until you hit the opponent then spam Acid Hunter on them. You will be able to zone them out and deny CS while you will be able to CS as much as you want. Every time you see them making there way to get CS Noxian Corrosive Charge them.
They are like bad dogs trying to pee in the house. Every time you see the dog trying to pee you have to scold the dog. Every time you the enemy trying to get cs you have to Noxian Corrosive Charge them. TRAIN YOUR ENEMY!

When you turn level 6 ask for a gank and it will be an easy kill if you use HYPER-KINETIC POSITION REVERSE. While chasing an opponent always remember to use Terror Capacitor for the slow.

Here is the chasing skill order:

Noxian Corrosive Charge> Terror Capacitor> Acid Hunter> HYPER-KINETIC POSITION REVERSE> Noxian Corrosive Charge> Terror Capacitor> Acid Hunter

Mid Game

In team fights try to harass with long range as usual. Always try to HYPER-KINETIC POSITION REVERSE the enemy carry, Don't be afraid of swapping yourself into the enemy team because you will be tankier than the enemy AD carry and you might actually live whereas the enemy AD carry is almost guaranteed to fall. If you have Flash up you can swap and flash out of the enemy team changing the fight into 5v4 if you swapped the enemy AD carry right into your team correctly.

Late Game

At this point you do not deal as much damage, you are more of a fighter than a range DPS. You should have Guardian Angel by now. Stick as a team and swap the enemy ad carry as usual but this time, while the entire enemy team kills you, your team will come help after they have killed the enemy AD carry and you will still be alive from GA. You should be able to win most team fights if you use your ultimate correctly.

Urgot is a really fun champion to play and now I always see Urgot going bottom lane and I wanted to show the world that Urgot is a great solo topper and I thought I had to teach you guys how that could be.
