Like the guide, I folliowed your endgame guide and I have been raising from 100 to 1150 elo now. I usually only put one point in my E because the shield just helps for everything. ofc the slow is awesome but also the fact that you usually have to take a little dmg to get in range to throw your E against a caster. the shield just tanks all the damage for me which gives me so much more sustain in lane that the level advantage soon makes up for the missed dmg from E.

I know urgot has seen tournament play at solo top. He simply is such a ***** to lane against, he wins his lane often, and he has good lane security(hard to gank), while providing great support for ganks.
The transition to a more carry-ish role late game intrigues me.... using cost effective early game items( The Brutalizer, Manamune), to tide you over til late game... but this isn't how I would do it. Glass cannon critgot is not the way I would want to go. I will tinker with the transition concept more later. We'll see.

It works in a weird way, you essentially end up being urgot early-mid game and ashe in late game, but without any real downsides. Most of the time, if you're going to stomp, you do it before you transition to carry, and if it lasts that long and you're winning you NEED to transition or you fall off. I often build GA after PD if I'm not well protected. Even in cases where neither team is competent and teamfights are a massive cluster****, high dps on a bloodthirster will actually keep you up (since they dont focus you).

The only time you're truly screwed is when your team starts fights and leaves you to die in the middle of them, which is essentially never even with newbies, and would not change with more defense.

Urgot isn't a carry, don't treat him like it. This may work at whatever level you're playing, but it's the same as playing AD TF; too close for comfort, just plain fits another role better. AD caster / anti carry is what he is. Relying on auto attacks is stupid. There is a reason you don't see urgot bot with a support in tournament play; he isn't a carry.

While I do agree with this statement, I have three things you might have missed.

1. You don't pick up any auto-attack stats until about 35 minutes with Bloodthirster. This is about where caster ad Urgot falls off, anyway. This is pretty late in the game, and by now your Acid Hunters are starting to tickle compared to crit carry dps. It's more effective overall to transition to an auto-attack carry at this point, you've already done most of the bulk work with your AD caster items.

2. I'm running this very effectively at 1500-1700 elo but it works EVEN BETTER at low elo.

3. Urgot HAS seen some tournament play, they just typically pick pure ranged carries because of the high skill cap. If they played Urgot, their opponents wouldn't feed them, which is kind of the point of playing an early game champion. Even regardless of this, he's been used for the lane control.

Good guide! I thing is more efective that the other guide.Good man i see u next time! ''Oh,if u have any build for gangplank pls put a guide''.Tnx!

Thanks for the kind words. I don't really play Gangplank, but the guides we already have on the site are pretty good. Urgot, on the other hand, had nothing.

its just an honest though hopefully you would listen to it

This is just a quick guide I whipped up because I found this build to be extraordinarily effective in solo queue.

Why not combine Manamune with tanky items that grant a lot of mana such as Frozen Heart and Banshee's Veil?
You're building like a typical DPS carry that can simply rightclick anyone and destroy them, but there are others that do this much better.
Your auto-attack range is very small, your main damage source is your E + Q combo (which only scales with AD, it can't crit, so why you build Infinity Edge + Phantom Dancer I can't understand) and your simply making yourself squishy in situations where you could've been tanky (you're relying on your ult too much imo).

I....don't get it.

It's a pubstomping build. Your goal here is to never be in range to get hit, which is quite easy on urgot.
