As you know Vayne is a very powerful Character in this game. But she often lacks gold in the early to midgame to get really IMBA especially if she is harassed or confronted with more tanky enemies. This Build/Guide should help you to max your damage output with just a few normally unusual items. PLEASE read the Guide completely (even if i didn´t) before you Comment or Rank this.

This Guide is especially made for slaying tanky teams without being fed a lot to build up an entire dps/crit Itembuild.

PROS:
- it is a cheap build
- great damageoutput against tanky enemies
- sexy carry

CONS:
- this build is centered around Madred's Bloodrazor and is best against teams with lots of health (or even more than 2000...)

Why a CHEAP build? Isn´t it better to have a fullcrit-VAYNE?
=> Not in my opinion. Most games i have not enough money to buy all the items i wanted to, so i looked after a few cheaper items wich boost your champ at least as well.

x9 Greater Glyph of Shielding
Greater Seal of Vitality x9 Greater Seal of Vitality
Greater Mark of Desolation x9 Greater Mark of Desolation
Greater Quintessence of Desolation x3 Greater Quintessence of Desolation

The reasons for these runes are more survivability and maximum Armorpenetration.
The Glyphs are a must have in my build because there is actually no item giving you MR.
I recommend the Seals of Vitality. In fact you do normally have absolutely no life as Vayne and if focused and slowed/stunned you WILL die.

The Masteries are very self explanatory. You may ask why to pick Archaic Knowledge in the Masteries. As you may have seen this build includes Madred's Bloodrazor and Sword of the Divine wich are both dealing magical damage (and boost your physical dmg). These Mastery combined with the magic resistance lowering item Malady will boost up the damage of your hero incredibly.

What i normally use:

Exhaust: A great choice for the missing slow ability. Is good if you try to get a better position for condemn with exhaust-tumble-condemn. You also do TRUEdamage in Earlygame with your Runes and the Mastery cripple .

Ghost: Is good for escaping if you activate it while invisible. Also you could use it aggressively if your speed is not high enough to follow and slay your enemies.


Other viable options:

Flash: Normally even better for escaping, and maybe even for using condemn , but it is too nooby in my opinion and lacks the ability to permanently hit fast targets.

Ignite: You will not need this. If you choose this you dont have the option to pick Exhaust with an escape spell so don´t pick this.

This is the itemcomposition like shown above. This will be your standart itemcombo.
Now i will show you why to pick THESE items - and not others - and which viable items could be chosen.


Berserker's Greaves

Choose this item for standart movementspeed and a brilliant earlygame boost of attackspeed.
Instead of Berserker's you could also choose Boots of Swiftness or Mercury's Treads depending on your enemys.


Sword of the Divine

I personally love Sword of the Divine earlygame. It gives you the most attackspeedboost in this game (60) and has the ACTIVE to ignore 30 armor for 8 sec. This item is a must-have in this Mandreds based build because of this incredible attackspeed and its prize 1970 gold. You will more often hit your hard 3rd attack with Silver Bolts .


Madred's Bloodrazor

This is somehow the coreitem. The 4% magic damage is great on tanky enemys and it gives you attackspeed, attackdamage and armor too. I recommend this item - you don´t want to miss it.


Stark's Fervor

Lifesteal is very important for carries. Why to choose this one? Because of the bonus attackspeed and it´s auras of course... If you want some more ifesteal and don´t die often you could also choose The Bloodthirster or even Hextech Gunblade , but i recommend Stark's Fervor.


Malady

Malady is great for boosting your Mandred´s damage. In fact you get a boost of 50% attackspeed and a bonus magic penetration. If you don´t want this really good item for only 1405 gold. You could also choose Wit's End wich is the more defensive version of Malady...



Aggressive last item:

The Black Cleaver

A great item for bonus damage. You will gain +55 Attack Damage +30% Attack Speed and the good passive which reduces your target's Armor by 15 for 5 seconds (maximum 3 stacks).
I don´t think that this item should be the "best" last item choice because you dont get any survivability with it.

Youmuu's Ghostblade

This item is in my opinion a better choice than Black Cleaver because of its incredible ACTIVE´s attack- and movementspeed. But remember the problem of survivability...

Infinity Edge

Standart last item. This one i recommend. It boosts you AD damage a lot. Try this! - but remember the survivability.

Defensive last item:

Banshee's Veil

Brilliant item against AP characters. You wont die that often, but it gives you ZERO damage or slow/stun ability.

Frozen Mallet

Good item for survivability and slow. It really makes fun to play with this item.

Hexdrinker

This item is also brilliant against APs - and it gives you a bit offense as well, but i do not recommend this item in normal games. Is good against feeded VEIGAR !

Guardian Angel

This item is good for some reasons. You will be able to survive teamfights more often, but in solofights you could forget about the passive.

Yes, Teamwork.
This is the point wich decides if you rock the game or if you didn´t.
Here some simple rules wich will make it lot easier to rock with VAYNE.
The best lanemates for Vayne are Stun/Slow-Champs like Alistar or even Damage-Champs like Tryndamere .
NEVER ever attack a group of enemy champs on your own if you are not feeded.
In Teamfights let the Tanks do their job, you are not the one who has to open the fight.
Focus only one champ and tell your mates wich one you want to attack by pinging if you are not sure if you could erase them on your own. Try not to focus the enemy tank first - even if you are damaging him well.

Playing Vayne could be really annoying if you want to activate certain ACTIVES at once.
You may miss a key or search for it if you are not used to play her.
Therefore I highly recommend to put Ghost on F and Sword of the Divine on slot 4.
This makes it very comfortable to quick-press '4' and 'R' to deal maximum damage and if the enemy tries to escape - or you know he is really fast press 'F' afterwards. He cannot escape. Enjoy playing Vayne and thanks for your comments and ratings...
