Introduction

Hey Guys, My name is Jamason "Nmyr PuppyDawg" Fuller. This will be my first Guide on MOBAfire :D. I decided to do it on my favorite AD Carry, Vayne the Night Hunter
Vayne is a Ranged AD Carry that has a very weak early game and a beast mid game and a godlike late game. In other words, shes a Hyper Carry. She is one of the best ADC's in the game and I hope I can convince you she is aswell! :3

Pros / Cons

Pros

+ HYPER Carry
+ High Skill Cap
+ Best Chaser in Game
+ Fun and Rewarding
+ Good Escape
+ Ult makes everything you do BETTER

Vayne is an amazing ADC with very strong Pros, I've played her on and off for awhile and when I came back to maining ADC I picked up Vayne again and she's just too good not to play if you main ADC. Her Late Game and Kill Potential is just so good and so high, she's so mobile, she's almost unkillable with the constant Tumble due to Final Hour. Overall, She's a very versatile Champion and I really due recommend you pick her up.

Cons

- Low Attack Range
- Very Passive early
- Hard to Master
- Positioning is EVERYTHING
- Low Attack Speed on Spawn
- Can lose Trades easily if Silver bolts doesn't Proc

Like everyone else, Vayne also has her weaknesses. Probably the worst thing about her is everyone is like OH MY GOD VAYNE SO GEWD, and then you mess up with your Condemn or something and you get flamed so much, you almost give up. Her Silver Bolts are a HUGE part of her damage and if you don't pull it off and don't get 3 hits, It may cost a teamfight or your life. If your opponent really knows that they are doing, You can easily get zoned early game but its alright aslong as you make it to Late Game.

Masteries

I honestly think this is one of the best Mastery Pages for Vayne as of right now. With the fix on the mana cost on her Tumble, I find you no longer need the Mana Regen from Meditation . The 9 in Defense makes you really beefy for a level 1 with the Doran's Blade Start.

Runes

[3] Greater Quintessence of Life Steal: SO GOOD. OMG. Alright, So Sustain support or not, You get FREE Health back and with the Doran's start, You are set. You can play more passive then you could with just the Doran's start and no Life Steal Runes. You can trade more effective and best of all, Your support SAVES mana from not using their healing spells they can harass your opponent more making them play passive and not you! :D

[9] Greater Mark of Attack Damage: Pretty Standard, Helps with Last Hitting, Helps with Trading, Helps with the early boost that Vayne really needs.

[9] Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: I like scaling better because you don't really face an AP until Mid to Late. Yes, Most supports actually DO AP Damage but you would benefit more when it really matters. I would only really take Flat Magic Res when against support Nidalee.

[9] Greater Seal of Armor: Pretty Standard. I've tested Attack Speed runes, on all areas. I don't really like it because you rush a Phantom Dancer so, you really get set up pretty early I find you don't need it.

Summoner Spells

Flash: No matter what ADC you are, you NEED Flash. This also goes for every lane. This Summoner just does so much more than the rest. Its an Escape and an Initiate tool, why give it up? This is a big play maker.

Cleanse: I really love this summoner aswell. Why would you get tenacity when you if you get caught out, You are 70% Dead. This summoner literally saves me 5 times average per game. I HIGHLY recommend it :D.

Barrier: This is the replacement for the old Heal but, better. Every ADC ran heal. This as strong if not stronger in my opinion, Ignites are everywhere and you can just Barrier it off if you need too. I recommend this only if there isn't a lot of hard cc.

Ability Explanation

  • Night Hunter: // Makes you a really good chaser if, not the best. Helps with Kiting I believe too. Makes Vayne have a lot more Kill Potential than she would without this skill.

[2] Tumble (Q): // Amazing skill. A re-positioning skill with a super low CD and an Auto Attack Reset? AWESOME. Max by level 9 in my opinion.

[3] Silver Bolts (W): // A 3 hit proc tank shredder? YES PLEASE. This skill does TONS OF DAMAGEā„¢ late game. Holy cow . Max by level 13

[4] Condemn (E): // The only ADC with a stun thats not their ultimate. This skill requires alot of skill and even the slightest error can make you save your opponent. This is one of Vaynes game changing skills that you need to know how to use. Max Last.

[1] Final Hour (R): // Final Hour makes everything Vayne does, BETTER. It's a super strong steriod that makes you THE BEST CHASER IN THE GAME. You are so freaking fast with this on with Night Hunter, 90 MS? Alright and you do even more DAMAGE. Max First.

Ability Sequence Order

> > >
Max your Ultimate first because well, it's your Ultimate. Tumble 2nd because it's consistent damage because if you don't get the 3 hit proc off with your maxed w, You won't be doing so much, I tried maxing W first for awhile, I liked it alot, then I went back to maxing Tumble first and I never went back to maxing my W first again. I learned that you need your Q for the damage early game and then thats why the damage from your W comes into play more often. Condemn last because its a really good skill even with 1 point in it. Don't get me wrong, it's very important to have this skill, it's just not worth maxing first in my opinion.

Items

Item Sequence

Doran's Blade 450
Berserker's Greaves 1100
Phantom Dancer 2800
Blade of the Ruined King 3200
Last Whisper 1450
Enchantment: Furor 450

Amazing boots but standard for any ADC. Attack speed and movement speed. Best boot choice in my opinion, and selling boots for Zephyr, I dun think so. Enchantment: Furor is so good plus ADC's don't need Tenacity, If you get hit with hard CC, you are dead, with or without Tenacity.

You get this item 2nd if you don't need a big damage item early, Honestly, I do this 9.5 out of 10 and get it 2nd. Its so good on Vayne as a Rush item. Helps you get your 3 hit procs and you crit alot. I think its a win-win situation.

This item. Oh man, This item. Alright, so basically you do %damage per hit, your Silver Bolts do %damage, your Phantom Dancer is Criting and it's active instantly heals you does damage and you GAIN MOVEMENT SPEED and SLOW THEM. Hi, Volibear. Hi, [[Udyr. Hello EVEN more mobile Vayne. Say whattt.

Your W does true damage on the 3 hit proc? Your basic attacks will now do almost true damage. Unless they build armor of course. Then that armor is just useless lol. Stnadard ADC Item. but, very good item to say the least.

I love this item. Even if you are good at Kiting as it is. You lock your opponent up. They are chasing you and you are just having a fun ol' time cuz of your Enchantment: Furor and your slow, they'll have to back up, and then you turn around on them and they die. How funny is that.

TONS OF DAMAGEā„¢. Alright, Alright, fine for real, this time. This item does ALOT OF DAMAGE. 250% Crit? Ouch. Added with ALOT of Attack Damage. OP. I recommend this if you don't need a Scimitar.

Teamfights

#1 Rule of ADC. Don't die. If you are dead, you do no damage, if you do no damage, your team will most likely lose that team fight. Your job is to stay alive and do as much damage as possible without dying.
The targets you should aim for in order are:
AD carry > AP carry > Solo top/Support > Tank assuming you are able to go for that order without dying, otherwise, just attack the closest target to you.
I usually save Final Hour for when you are being targeted and you want to get them off you and do even more damage. Positioning is key in all teamfights as ADC. Don't forget that. and also don't forget to use condemn the right way. Examples being, Death Lotus, Stand United, Stun aganist the wall, Escaping or trying to get the enemy off you so your team can peel for you.

Summary

I hope you guys enjoyed my Guide. I took a few days editing it. Please leave comments and Up-Vote if you liked this :D. I hope you learned from first guide on MOBAfire :3
