Why don't you get BOTRK and max w first if you want max dmg output? Your e is just for the stun/getaway.

I thank you for taking the time to lay out the section on match ups. As a support I was very happy to find it. Keep up the good work!

Voted up. There are some really good tips related to teamfighting - but all in all, I don't believe maxing Condemn first is so good. It requires a lot of luck and skill to land it right, and during the lane phase it's really hard.

I encourage to visit my own Vayne guide!

@Builds: Builds are decent but you have absolutely no survivability until GA which is pretty dumb considering the fact that Vayne has the most problems with AP champs mid game due to her insanely short range.

@Info:
How in the world can you say "Play aggressive with this AD carry"? You can't determine a playstyle until picks are seen. The supports play the main part in bot lane so it's absurd to tell people to play something that's highly situational.

Also, people max tumble first mainly for the ability to last hit under tower with ease as well as solid lane harass.
Maxing Condemn first does you no good except when paired with a kill support eg: Leona, Alistar and you're playing hyper-aggressive against an easier lane.
With Vayne you can NEVER play aggressive in lane. You go in to attack, any AD carry / support can outdamage you easily. The only solid harass you have is silver bolts and tumble. You max your condemn first, further lowering the viability of aggressive plays.

Scenario: You go in to attack and harass. Any enemy AD carry Corki, Ezreal, MF, Graves, Ashe, etc) will easily outdamage your tumble damage + AA damage with their harass (Phos Bomb, Double-up, etc). If you continue to attack for your 3rd proc, you take more damage from minions and champions due to having insanely low base armor as well as mediocre AD. The only scenario where you can go in to harass is when the enemies are backing off or are in a position to not respond to an engage.

You also definitely do NOT use the ult solely for stealth. That's absolutely wrong and incorrect. You use it BEFORE you engage or when you are in a position to take damage from the enemy bruiser for the AD steroids as well for mobility. 12 seconds is a LOT of time for a teamfight. Vayne has the most problems with APs mid game which is why she's so seldom picked in competitive gameplay.

@Aesthetics:
You might want to work on the coding a bit.
I'll revote if you fix your guide to the stuff I listed above.

The information is strong. There are some mistakes and the layout can be improved but the information alone deserves my upvote
I am sure that the author will make changes over time with the coding.

The thing is, if you are using tumble defensively, you can only use it once while running away, otherwise you have to turn around, shoot something, to get the timer rolling again, otherwise its a 1 trick pony, so its defensive capabilities are maxed at level 1.

I have a better start typically leveling up the q or e. The condemn is a great high damage but hard to land ability IMO. If it works for you then who am I to downgrade your guide. In my opinion the tumble has much more to offer pros than cons. You stated the cooldown affect isn't worth the cost, but I believe you're looking at it only from an attacking perspective. Many people who start out using Vayne learn to get aggressive and the aggression can lead to an early lead for your opponent. I know i've done it plenty of times, and have had to come back in late game. The tumble is very versatile. By having tumble early you can utilize it defensively and offensively. Defensively if you're out of flash or need an escape it can push you away. Same could be said to use condem to push the enemy away, but if you are being chased by multiple enemies you may not survive both. On the offensive side, tumble can be used in a chase scenario. Leading to early kills to gain an advtanage in early fights.

I would like to see a section to set up condemns. Or examples, like when Blitzcrank grabs Vayne, In a few instances, I have baited them to pull me (1on1) so I can condemn them against a wall if I have the health/heal to be able to take him out.

Yeah, sorry about all the ugliness, this is my first guide so I really don't know my way around the coding and stuff.

Edit: Wow! Thanks a lot, this looks so much nicer!

Pretty much the same way I build my Vayne who I have been playing a lot lately even since I got into the AD carry role. You earned this +1, but here are a couple constructive criticisms.

1. In your "Against Hard Lane" build, I'd suggest testing out Wriggle's Lantern with one or two Doran's Blades. It is a build used in competitive quite often to come out of a losing lane despite stalling your late game a little.

2. Your BBCoding in the items section is ugly. You seem to be unaware of this coding since it isn't used anywhere in your guide.

[[Name of Character, skill, item, etc]_] *Remove the Underscore in between second set of brackets to get it to code

Vayne, Tumble, The Bloodthirster

3. Consider the item Quicksilver Sash as a viable alternative to Guardian Angel. It removes more CCs than Cleanse and serves a similar purpose, but on a shorter CD.

4. Try the code [runes_] (no underscore again) in your runes section. Also, while I agree Greater Mark of Attack Damage is optimal, consider greater mark of desolation against really tanky laners such as Urgot, who generally builds an early Glacial Shroud.

Great guide, and I hope to see it improve and rise up in the ranks :D

I've never heard of max-ing Condemn first, but seeing the potential in Bonus Damage when striking someone against a wall, lanes with Blitzcrank, Taric, or Leona could be devastating combos. May have to try this one day.
