If that is so true, then why can I use an Event Horizon that is level 1 rank and STILL land a level 2-3 dark matter on my opponent while they are stunned?

Its because what separates a great Veigar player from a good Veigar is stun placement. A level 1 Event Horizon is plenty enough to get your full combo in.

Also, at level 7 I can easily destroy my middle lane opponent. Level one Event Horizon, Dark matter directly on the edge of the stun, Primordial Burst, Baleful. If it doesn't kill them, they will be turning their tail and running.

Another thing: Magic Penetration. Where is all of yours? All I see is the penetration from runes. What if they have people who stack Magic Resist because they want to shut you down? Three Archangels will not be able to help you do damage. If the other team is smart, they will invest in a Banshee's Veil. That has some decent magic resist to it. Without your penetration, you wont be hitting as hard as you say. Even with your 1.2k AP.

There are other items worth getting: Void Staff, Abyssal Scepter, DFG, Mejai, Morello's Evil Tome, etc.

I encourage you to broaden your choice of items. Also, this is one hell of an expensive build. How often do you find yourself completing this build? I find it hard to believe that its very often.

Note: I'm not trying to come off here as "all knowing" but rather to challenge you and question your guide. My guide isn't perfect either, nor is it the "right" way to play Veigar. A guide is a guide and with each one comes questions from those reading it.
