Hello guys, I'm RoelNL and i play on Europe west for 2 months now and I decided to make a veigar guide because i see to many people fail at him.

I take magic pen quints and marks for lategame useful runes, because that's the moment you (still) shine.
flat mana regen seals for early game farming. This synergies very well with your passive.
ap per level glyphs because these are simply the best glyphs for veigar

Nothing special, normal caster masteries.

Your core: sorcerers shoes, deathfire's grasp and rabadon's deathcap. these items will allow you to oneshot almost anyone in midgame.
Voidstaff if they build magic resist, Rylai's crystal scepter if you get focused more, if none of these both, take morello's evil tome for cd reduction.

OMFG WHY SHURELYA'S REVERIE??? because you will end any game with 700-800 ap and you don't need more for oneshots and this allows you to catch up enemies who refuse to get killed or to escape after you jumped in to oneshot someone.

focus maxing baleful strike to farm easier and do more harass with less mana. don't train dark matter until you have atleast event horizon 3 because the stun will be to short to land it. also dark matter's dmg will come from the 1:1 scaling ap, not the base dmg.

your oneshot sequence looks like this: event horizon-dark matter-deathfire's grasp-primordial burst-baleful strike. This will allow you to oneshot ANYONE (even tanks).

Flash for the win, it let's you escape or jump in unexpected and kill someone.

Teleport because you don't need any other summoner spell. Ignite for example isn't needed because you'll have enough dmg already. it is very useful for ganks and it supports your weak early game.

FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS getting ap by last hitting with baleful strike. you don't need to harass or even kill (although it's possible if you're about lvl 10, keep in mind you can't oneshot ready so harass first). so play defensively and avoid getting harassed or killed. after laning phase you'll have about 70 ap if done well. this is even increased by 35% because of masteries and rabadon's deathcap.

midgame you'll help your allies who are with their backs against the wall by ganking. make sure your allies will help you and walk in a way you can't miss your stun. teleport provides easy ganks aswell. don't rage if they killsteal you, because you actually only need sorcerers shoes, rabadon's deathcap and deathfire's grasp. this will give you about 500 ap if farmed properly early game.

your role in teamfights is by oneshotting their ad carry. this is done by letting them engage your allies and land a stun on as many enemies as possible or walk in, stun, oneshot, flash out, shurelya's reverie if needed.

To emberr*** your enemies even more you need a cool skin because the classic one is totally covered by an ugly robe and hat. My reccomandation is leprechaun veigar because it's cheap and simply awesome. The new one: superb villain veigar is an option aswell but still his big hat covering his body is a pain in the ***.
