Yoo thnx for reply 2 my build!

I like to finish Deathfire before the boots. When you have got Deathfire it is so much easier 2 nuke and kill your enemy. This way it is easier to get the boots sooner :D.
Also i really hate 2 to rely on Mejai's. When i get feeded a bit the opponent just targets me and kill me stacks :S. Trade it in for an Zhonya's and you will own :D

On revive you are right i will remove it XD.
(And y Englisch is my second language :D)

Responding to your response =D

1, gonna try it out.
2, isn't veigar all about overkill? The easier we burst down someone the more we can manage our ult. Carries can die without using ultimate at all
3, it's true that your dark matter is way to expensive pre-6. but in case you get towerdived by a firstblood hungry lvl 3 ezreal. THen you can stun him, land a dark matter and a baleful strike and he is dead, not you. Giving you the extra punch pre-6 to outkill most opponents early game

2. Against carry heroes void staff is often overkill since you already have around 30 magic pen. The reason I don't usually go void staff is because of its high recipe cost. I think void staff is best used when they have annoying heroes like Irelia who you can't seem to ignore and also have a fair bit of magic resistance.

3. If they tower dive you and you manage to stun them in tower range, then they are dead either way usually. It's true that a dark matter can add extra damage but consider this: that extra 250 ms they stay stunned for with a level 2 stun can result in an extra tower hit, which is greater than or equal to a dark matter at that part in the game.

To be honest, getting dark matter early or later is kind of a preference thing. I've succeeded with build orders where I get 2 points in baleful, 1 in stun and maxed out dark matter first. The biggest benefit to early dark matter in my opinion is the ability to kill all the lesser wraiths with one AoE attack from mid (the greater wraith can be finished with a Q). So long as you max dark matter before your stun I think you'll be good to go.

Hope all this helps.

In response to ThaHood:

1. It is true that blue buff solves all your mana problems; however, early game blue buff is either constantly taken by your team's jungler or the other team's jungler. Furthermore, at lower levels, Veigar has a somewhat hard time earning blue by himself. Also, the time used to get blue buff could have been used to last hit minions with your Q. Purchasing a chalice alleviates all mana issues throughout the game. Mid game, blue buff is one of the best things on Veigar especially because of its cool down reduction, allowing for faster recharging of your ultimate and therefore your kill combo. Late game, you can get the blue buff if you feel it's necessary (it's main use now is for sustained pushing and CDR). I've done a lot of experimenting with Veigar builds, and I can honestly say that chalice is the best investment early game for solving any form of mana issue. It allows for an early DFG without sacrificing last hitting with your Q.

2. I should actually include void staff. I kind of rushed that section so there are definitely items I forgot to include. Void staff is a very situational item and 9 times out of 10 it's overkill. If the other team is stacking MR then yeah it's a good investment.

3. See my response to deathalo44's question. I really feel as though 2 levels in stun is the way to go... Check out my justification.
*EDIT: just adding on to that explanation: dark matter is one of those spells you should avoid using prior to level 6 because of its high mana cost and low damage (its mana cost is high because it requires a stun to land). You need to use your Q every time it's off cooldown, and prior to getting your chalice this will often consume your mana pool.

Nice little build although I have a few questions.

1,Why get Chalice if all you need for mana management is a blue buff?
2,Why don't you recommend Void Staff as situational item, it gives you a lot of magic penetration (That's kind of the focus in my own Veigar guide)
3,Why take 2 lvls in Event Horizon pre-6? It has no use to get the longer stun if there is no Dark Matter to let it fall on.

this is almost my exact build, although i prefer getting dark matter earlier so i can 100%-0 enemies earlier and build up my farm.
