Hi! this is my prefered Veigar build. Veigar is a ranged mage. Many would say Veigar is one of the strongest mage, because of his abilyties. This is a character strongest in mid lane. if hegets a lot of kills = almost impossible to take down.Veigar is very fragile so it's important to select at least one defensive spell. I recommend that you go to http://www.youtube.com/ and watches the spotlight for Veigar to know him a bit more before going into a match. The best thing if Veigar is mid laning against an ability power champ. they will suffer cause of his ultimate

The item guid is basicly based on that you are actually doing good in lane. I prefer to start of with doran's ring just to get the 100 health and mana reg. you can also start right of with the first item to you stackbook. Then I buy Mejai's soulstealer. If you are doing good in lane, BUY THIS ITEM! if you are dying alot, just start right off wih boots. If you chose to don't buy stackbook, go for a hextech revolver/archangel's staff. keep your doran's ring untill you got 6 of the items, then sell for an abyssal scepter. You might change your build depending on the enemy team, but it Usually works

You might not be happy with these runes, but they usually works. If you want a Veigar late game nuker I would recommend a mana reg per lvl, but you really need that regen at the very beggining, since you will use baleful strike A LOT! Anyways, I not the best with runes, but trust me, those runes works great. you need early mana reg and Ability power

Farming is a important ability for Veigar. Especially his Q-ability. ALWAYS use this ability to last hit minions. when last hitting a minion with the ability he will earn 1 ability power. your W ability is incredbly strong and is usually used to finish many minions at once, but I recommend only to use it when your tower is getting attacked. the best thing is to try to only last hit with Q-ability. (remember to max baleful strike as fast as you can)

Veigar got some hardcore awsome abilyties. If you gonna take one down 1v1 send dark matter first where the enemy champion is. Then as quick as you can set an event Horizon at the champion so he gets stunned right away. In other words, the outer line of the ability. then send ultimate and at the end, Send a baleful strike right away. When in teamfights send your stun, then a dark matter where the most champions are. Try to focus the one with most abilitypower. Veigar's ultimate deals alot of damage based on his own ability power + 80% of the enemy champion's Abilitypower which is Incredible strong against champs as Karthus, Malzahar, vlad and ryze.
