But by the time you get the Archangel's, it would be mid game and you don't need mana regen anymore, and 45 AP really isn't that much. I understand your choices with the runes.

Archangels staff because you need the mana regen at the begining of the game and its some fast AP. I get flat AP because it gives me an edge early game and I dont need a AP item at the first.

And with your runes, why not go AP/level instead of flat AP?
