As a avid Veigar player, I must say this is one of the best guides I've read (and I've read a lot of them). Everything was well thought out and written with proper coding along side so that the reader doesn't strain the eyes at walls upon walls of text. If at first you don't succeed, try again. If you still don't succeed, stop embarrassing yourself. :)

Seriously though (see what I did there?) if there's one single thing that I could tell someone about how to play Veigar, it'd be that. It's even more important for Veigar than farming SS is for Nasus. Thanks for the praise, I'm planning on writing another guide in the next couple of weeks or so. Depends on how much I can gather, I want to put out this kind of content each time or I'll feel like I'm not doing my job. |

Overall, good guide. It was a very entertaining read and one of the few guides I've kept interest long enough to actually read all the way through from start to finish. The videos were good and showed what they needed to to get the point across. Well done!

Swain as one of the laning opponents you don't want to be against? His early game often completely shuts down your farming if played right with constant harass and zoning. While on the same note, I disagree with your placement of
Malzahar as well. All
Malzahar does is push the lane, allowing you guarenteed free farm for the first 5 levels, at which point you have to watch out for a
Flash  Nether Grasp. As long as you stay away from the last minion in your wave and don't let his  pass on to you, you will take very litte damage from his only real harassing ability is  Call of the Void, which is put off until later to level up most of the time.Despite these disagreements, I'm looking forward to seeing other guides you put out as well as your response to this post! I actually really appreciate your feedback. I was working off of what I knew, and the last time I went against Swain it was a cakewalk, whereas the last time I went against Malzahar he was the most aggressive mid I'd ever seen, like he thought he was a damn Mordekaiser or something. I planned on updating this as I experienced matchups, so I appreciate your thoughts because you definitely have a very good point. Since we've experienced different lanes (and because I've experienced the lanes you've described with different champs) I'll take the two out entirely for now, and play Veigar more often until I'm sure it's less of a player skill issue and more a difference between the actual kits. |

I'm glad you received my constructive criticism well! A lot of people would be kind of mad about taking shots all at one area, but I'm glad you're willing to test it out. Honestly, it's just my opinion fused with some logic. I have no idea how much experience you have with the game in general, so you may have more experience with easy

Swain matchups or difficult
Malzahar matchups than I have had with the opposite. Either way, I'm curious as to what you decide!Absolutely, I'm always open to constructive criticism. I read your Veigar guide and it's clear you definitely know what you're talking about, too, so I'd be stupid not to listen up. I actually picked up Swain a couple of days ago, and I have to say I agree with your opinion. Swain's a harassy motherf*cker and I don't think I'd have figured that out if I had played him. My suggestion was based on one game and the only time we ever really fought was late game when I bursted him down harder than he bursted me down, but I got plenty of farm because he was surprisingly passive, whereas I chucked laserbirds at EVERYTHING when I played Swain. I want to try this out as Veigar but I definitely agree with you now. EDIT: I will admit my first impression of you was that I thought you were probably an ******* because you liked Xin Zhao and 99% of them are horrible people. I'm very, very glad to see I was wrong. |
