hello frends its ya boi PLEASEGODENDME back at it again with another seasonal update to your favorite vi top build guide!

I am a Bronze IV in NA. Please Trust me. I main Vi and have a 10% winrate with her in twisted treeline 3v3s. I don't know if you knew this but, I was also bronze I in season 5 Dominion. I got to bronze I with this build because you can run fast and capture points faster. The reason catching points in dominion is important is because "Dominion is a capture-and-hold game mode where two teams of five players compete on the Crystal Scar Field of Justice to destroy the enemy nexus. The nexus is untargetable and has 500 life points. These life points can only be diminished by controlling more capture points than the enemy team or securing enemy kills: the more points you control, the faster life points are lost by the enemy nexus. When both teams have the same amount of capture points, neither nexus will be damaged. Killing an enemy champion reduces their nexus' HP by 2. The nexus' HP will stop depleting life by champion kills once it reaches 100 HP to avoid victory by "ninja capping" (capturing points just to deplete the health of the nexus instantly) or by "winning kill" (associating victory by finishing off enemy champions).There are five capture points in Dominion which start out as neutral points on the map that players must capture. The capture points must be captured by right-clicking on the capture points' tower. Once the player's Champion is within range of the tower, he/she will begin channeling for a set amount of time to capture the control point. The more Champions that are channeling, the faster the control point is captured. When a point has already been captured by an opposing team you will need to channel twice: once to make it neutral and once more to capture it for your team. Why Build This Stuff?

Vi is all about chasing down the enemy and catching them out. You need to build max movement speed. Max movement speed = more chasing = more winning.
Vi's abilities are maximized with this build; I crunched the numbers personally myself. I'll show you in this next chapter.

rune choices!!!!

I went with predator for the keystone because I saw the word MS and i decided that would be the keystone.
I went with Sudden Impact for the 2nd rune because Vi has a q ability which is considered a dash and you max it so i figured you should go with that.
I went with zombie ward because I didn't want to collect EYES so yeah, and then i didnt want ghost poro because you shouldnt be in a bush for that long if youre sonic.
I went with relentless hunter because it said MS and MS is always good.

For the secondary thingy, I went with Sorcery because it has Waterwalking and Celery. Water walking and Celery both give MS, which is very good for this build.

numbers

vi has abilities. they cant do dmg if she isnt near the target.

the same math and calculations can be applied to all other champions whose name doesnt start with a and end in atrox.

Vi is a great pick in solo queue. While with this build is a bit squishy, it makes up for it due to her to quick get-aways. Her duelling potential is huge due to the fact that she can run away and chase if things go wrong or right. It's also very good in Dominion. - Susceptible to flame
- Doesn't maximize her ap ratios damage
- Cast time on ult
- Too good
- Not a crit-based champion

As per all champions, Vi has her strengths, and her weaknesses. Compared to other top laners, with this build is a bit squishy. As for her ult, it's got a cast time, it's static, and it falls off late game in damage. Additionally, she's got some useless AP ratios on . Lastly, she isn't crit-based.

Notes on VS Vi

The reason you should build Randuins, Moonflair Spellblade, Zz Rot Portal, Runic Echoes, Youmuu's, Zeal, Raise Morale, And Phantom Dancer is because, Movement speed is not all about having high move speed, it's also about slowing the enemy. Vi in particular.

As you can see in the match above, Nerf Flash has followed my build and met great success, even against Vi's biggest threats. Nerf Flash brought 10/10 synergies and came out victorious.

Capture points
Main article: Capture point
There are five capture points in Dominion which start out as neutral points on the map that players must capture. The capture points must be captured by right-clicking on the capture points' tower. Once the player's Champion is within range of the tower, he/she will begin channeling for a set amount of time to capture the control point. The more Champions that are channeling, the faster the control point is captured. When a point has already been captured by an opposing team you will need to channel twice: once to make it neutral and once more to capture it for your team. Capture points will slowly return to a neutral state if they are not controlled by a team.

If a captured point is neighboring enemy capture point, minion spawn points behind it will start spawning minion waves, in the formation of two regular minions plus one super minion, alongside the outer ring to contend against the enemy minion wave and neutralize the enemy capture point once they reach there. Any minion in Dominion would not travel beyond the neighboring capture point, which is their programmed destination. If there is no enemy unit around or the capture point has already been captured, they will disappear at the destination. If the destination capture point is not captured, minions will contribute to their team's capturing of the point."
