Hello! This is Mannichon's Guide to Vi. This is my first guide so bear with me as I work through the entire thing, and fine-tune everything. I'm very open to comments, criticism, or even just talking about Vi in general. I have experience with most if not all of the current champions, so expect to see more guides from me!
It is -not- finished yet, and will likely receive tons and tons of updates in the first few days, and definately the weeks to come.

Pros / Cons
+ Great damage, especially early game.
+ Decent burst
+ Easy Farm
+ Scales well with AD
+ Does very well on trades, depending on opponent, thanks to passive W
- A bit squishy, compared to most Top Lane
- No sustain
- Q easy to predict
- Tricky farm during early game.
Why did I choose the summoner spells that I did?
Simple - Vi has no CC if you ignore the minor knock-up of her R and the more troublesome than helpful Q knock-back. Exhaust helps this vio not only a slow, but the decrease in enemy's ability to hurt you really helps with the squishy factor.
And flash? Do I really need to explain flash?
Honestly, I feel Vi can be build in a million ways as far as her skills go. I'd reccomend levels 1, 2, and 3, to be a point into each, as she's truely not all that effective without them.
Q- Probably the best LANING ability for Vi. You want to max this first, reason being, you want the CD lowered asap for more escape/chase. It can do some CRAZY damage(its basically Vi Nuke) the knock-back can be annoying but is minor, and besides.... FALCON PUNCH!
W- Awesome passive, comparable if not better than Vaynes. Attack Speed, Armor reduction, plus some decent damage(based on enemy total health) You want this second, as its a big source of damage and early-game trading, plsu it makes your lifesteal that much better.
E- Awesome farming/harass spell, but ultimately, do it last. Put a point into it at some point between 2-4. But beyond that leave it alone.
R- Pretty nifty. Knockup, decent damage, helpful for chase. It's Q but better.
I like to start with Dorans, but boots is also good, all depends on your matchup/ability. First trip back you want to build either Brutalizer, or Vampiric Scepter, whichever you can afford. From there build the opposite. Upgrade boots to either Armor, or Magic Resist. Then Black Cleaver, followed by Phage. From there you can either build your Frozen Mallet immediately after, or build Hydra. Then the opposite. Pretty much just as my cheatsheet shows.
Well, this is it for my first draft of my first guide. I hope that while very very crude and unrefined still, it gives you atleast a little insight into Vi, and how to get started. I enjoyed Zed, I liked Nami. But Vi is an amazingly fun champion, and my favorite of the newer releases. Please check back often for my updates, improvements, and overall badass-ness!
