Hey guys, this guide is about Vi, the Piltover Enforcer. I got her when she came out and LOVE playing as her and hope to share some about her through this. As I play her more and learn more about her I will further update the guide.
Who and Why?
Vi, the Piltover Enforcer is the partner of Caitlyn the Piltover City Sheriff. Vi is newly released and is over powered and I expect a nerf will be coming her way soon, however she is extremely fun to play as. Vi is a melee bruiser and can go top lane or even jungle. She has a wonderful jungle clear time if you are interested in that.
Vi is a melee champion and excels in top lane. She has a weak early game but flourishes in mid to late game. Vi can even serve exceptionally well as a solo top lane champion. She is very flexible in her roles and her damage output is VERY high at the moment.

Vi charges a shield over time. The shield can be activated by hitting an enemy with an ability.
Vi charges her gauntlets and unleashes a vault shattering punch, carrying her forward. Enemy champions that Vi collides with stop her movement and are knocked back.
Vi's punches break her opponent's armor, dealing bonus damage and granting her attack speed.
Vi's next attack blasts through her target, dealing damage to enemies behind it.
Assault and Battery
Vi runs down an enemy, knocking aside anyone in the way. When she reaches her target she knocks it into the air, jumps after it, and slams it back into the ground.
I prefer to take Flash/Ignite, a common combo on the battlefield. Flash allows for an ADDITIONAL escape or entrance/gap closer. Ignite just adds to that additional damage out-put and also allows kill security if an enemy tries to run away and your gap closers are on cool-down.
Optional Summoner Spells
Allows to better initiation of ganks.
Allows Vi to become even more over powered in comparison to her enemies.
Drops armor and magic resit with Summoners Wrath on the Masteries Page.
Allows for a speed boost.
Another Gap Closer/Initiator.
Relatively long speed boost.
Allows another escape from fights you cannot win.
USE ONLY WHEN JUNGLING!
