Support Vi - Who needs META?

Why play META Supporters like Alistar or Morgana if you can add a bit of imagination to create something new. Something the world hasn't seen yet. Something like... Vi, Support Vi. After bringing Ahri and Miss Fortune AP Support to life I tried to form a Top / Jungler focussing on All In - Damage into a useful Supporter. I got Level 5 Vi within few days just by playing her as a Support.
And what can I say, it turned out working pretty well... Maybe quite too well if you ask me, I'm a bit scared of what I've created.

Pros / Cons
+ Ranged harass with E
+ Can focus the ADC in laning phase easily just by pressing R
+ Safe poke with Q cause of your passive shield
+ Mobility with your Q (Wall Dashes)
- Can be poked heavily by a fed ADC (can be avoided by not feeding them, pro tip ;) )
- Needs a useful ADC on your side
- Cries of teammates in champion select after picking her, pff, filthy casuals
Can be useful in any situation. Engaging, disengaging, you know the deal.
Either you go the standard path and take Exhaust like most of Supporters do...
... or you try to secure a kill early by picking Ignite.

Those are my Standard Runes for a Support. They give Vi Early Game Tankiness to achieve high sustain.
Masteries for an AD-based Supporter. I put 4 points into Sorcery to be able to reach 40% CDR with Ionian boots if a tank isn't needed.
I recommend 1 point in Fury instead of Butcher because it's not quite in need with your Relict shield passive.
Similar to a top lane Vi. Focus can be changed to E>Q>W if you need a safer harass in laning phase.
Vi charges a shield over time. The shield can be activated by hitting an enemy with an ability.
Great for Poking without taking too much damage, can also be used to counter Ignite by, as an example, Q'ing into a minion.
Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 Mana
Vi charges her gauntlets and unleashes a vault shattering punch, carrying her forward. Enemies she hits are knocked back and receive a stack of Denting Blows.
I usually use this for (dis-)engaging and poking.
Vi's punches break her opponent's Armor, dealing bonus damage and granting her Attack Speed.
Actually rather needed during longer fights. I recommend using this for harass just in case the ADC is alone for the moment.
Cost: 60 Mana
Vi's next attack blasts through her target, dealing damage to enemies behind it.
Used for harass from a safe distance and AA-cancelling.
Cost: 100/125/150 Mana Mana
Vi runs down an enemy, knocking aside anyone in the way. When she reaches her target she knocks it into the air, jumps after it, and slams it back into the ground.
Great for catching a single target for ganks or other attempts on killing the carry.

All In Engage. Useful for starting a gank by CC'ing and focussing the Carry.

All In Engage with saving the Ult for follow up (as an example if the enemy flashes away)
Note: Titanic Hydra can be used anytime before hitting with an E AA
