This guide is intended to serve as a tool for players that enjoy bringing group utility to battles, as well as enhance the laning capabilities of one of the more prolific laners in the game. Vladimere offers to your team unrivaled support damage, enhancing your entire team's damage immensely. His rotation makes sure that while pushing a lane enemies will find it easier to tower hug than not.
Laning phase is simple for you. You can be solo or with partners; this makes Vladimere a prime candidate for team compositions that have at least on jungler in the mix. Your Transfusion is ultimately your go-to ability due to it's free cost, healing component, and range of the nuke. This ability makes your life much more simple. Use your Tides of Blood ability to harass or kill minions and make your opponents pay for the health you paid to do so with your Transfusion. After all, their blood is yours anyway, it's just a matter of time! When you get an opponent low in health and they're tower hugging, your Sanguine Pool will get you the kill in conjunction with your Ignite and other basic rotation. Sanguine Pool will dump aggro from EVERYTHING so you can hit your opponents with a Transfusion right before you cast Sanguine Pool to get the most effective use of your rotation even at towers. DO THIS, IT WORKS!
At level 6, you can begin owning players with even greater ease. You can nuke your opponents in your lane and finish them off with basic rotations coupled with Sanguine Pool and Hemoplague. Remember: Hemoplague does the damage for you later, so do all you can to nuke them down with you rotation and rely on Hemoplague to finish the kill if you can't before then. A basic confrontation at level 6 is as follows: Tides of Blood -> Transfusion -> Sanguine Pool -> Hemoplague -> Tides of Blood -> Transfusion. Not much can live through this and if you have your Ignite up, feel free to toss it in the mix.
Team battles are handled a bit differently, depending on team composition. With another initiator, you nuke the opponents down with Tides of Blood/Transfusion combo until go time, then crack your Hemoplague off as soon as you see your allies have committed. Cast it before they unload their goodies so they get a HUGE bonus to their over all damage output for the skirmish. If you find yourself as the only initiator, NO PROBLEM! It's basically the same concept, except you decide when it's go time for your team to own ***. Remember: always spam opponents that are pushing your lane. Poking is fun, after all.
The item build is basically self explanatory. Your early investment in boots can make that first blood pop up for you simply due to the fact you can close in on your opponents to hit with your combination of *** kickery with much greater ease. When you do have to go back, get that Haunting Guise quickly, as it's very cheap and it is simply a great early game investment for Vladimere. The boots choice is really up to you, depending on your situation. If you need to be more tanky, get the appropriate boots. If not, Sorcerer's Shoes of BOOMBOOM will make all you do hit harder.
