Hello there, as you may have noticed, this is my first published build here on mobafire.

I've been playing Vladimir since he came out and i must say he's by far the most satisfying champion to play by far, so many builds, so many options, and most of all, so many ways to play. What im going to post here, right now is what i've been figuring is the best build FOR ME, and to help out you new Vladdies i'm giving you this build of pwnage from the courtosy of my heart.

Skills:

As you may see, im no fan of Tides of Blood, it may be good Lategame, but for Early-MidGame i find Transfusion and Sanguine Pool MUCH better. Tides of Blood is just not worth it.

Transfusion: Your primary attack spell, SPAM IT LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW.
Sanguine Pool: Your Secondary attack spell, use it to get away from enemy Champions, or use it if your going to Towerdive after some Champions. Proper use of Sanguine Pool is gamebreaking for your opponents.
Tides of Blood: Only use it late mid game or lategame. Dont find it especially good before this.
Hemoplague: Learn to love this ultimate, deals nice damage after 5 seconds, but even better is the 15% more damage taken your opponents will suffer trough.

Stats from the last 10 games with Vladimir:
Ranked Games:
3 games total in Ranked: 20 kills, 4 deaths, 44 assists.
Normal:
9/0/3
9/1/7
6/0/11
4/1/9
5/1/5
6/0/14
6/2/15 - DEFEAT.

The rest was win.

So, lets get started.
Itembuild:
I start off with a Doran's Shield to get some extra regeneration and health (which also gives a few amount of extra abilitypower). This will let you stay in lane and push the limits of your opponents much easier than going on let's say, mid-lane without it.

Usually after this i will start going for Mercury Treads, i always use these shoes, they have saved my dear belowed Vladimir from getting wtfpwned so many times i dont have words for it.

Next i say! Meija's Soulstealer, my bread and butter. I always get this as early as possible, because i will get a lot of kills\assist, and i hardly ever die.

After that i'll go for the Spirit Visage, the %CD reduction on this item realy helps, and the added magic ressistance is always good to have.

Next is Rylai's, if Vladimir was a real person, he would have with 120% certainty have had that item on his shopping list himself, it's the one item that truly represent a Vladimir, what seperates the Men from the Boys, the Scepter of Carnage.. :>

After this your pretty much up to yourself, but i do like to use Zhonya's Ring and Abyssal after this, if you got a lot of spellcasters in your team you should consider doing Abyssal first.

Picking Lanes and making people ragequit, also.. general information:
I personally like to do mid-lane, getting to lvl 9 and getting your Transfusion maxed out is your first priority. I have yet to meet any Champion who can push mid vs me. Vladimir is MADE for mid, not let anyone joke you around on that one. He IS the MID champion.

However, dont be afraid to go any of the sidelanes also, i do it somethimes just for the fun of it.

and first and foremost, PLAY IT SAFE. DONT EVER WALK INTO A FIGHT YOU ARE NOT 110% CERTAIN YOU WILL WIN.

Now, over to the more practical things.
When im playing solo, or teamlane i use my Transfusion every time it's up, however. If you are not very good at last-hitting mobs, you can use Transfusion on the mobs instead of the enemy Champions. Getting your items fast is the key to victory.

SPAM transfusion, i must say it a lot to get it trough your thick skull, yeah you!

How i play.

Early Game:
Farming creeps, getting lasthits, take your time. Vladimir can stay in-lane for forever if played correctly, if the opponents are trying to go aggressive on you and shoot you, punish them with your Transfusion. Focus on staying alive and help your teammates whenever neccessary, remember.. building up your Meija's is very vital to this build.

Why am i just writing just early game? Well, you need to figure the rest out yourself, the game may unfold many ways, and frankly i cant sit beside you and hold your hand.

Over to some other stuff.

Attack rotations:

When engaging in teamfights when opponents are clustered together, i see what most Vladimir's do wrong, they dont use their ultimate. Vladimir's Ultimate realy shines trough in big fights, when all 10 players are engaging, your 15% extra dmg your teammates does is to say the least, insane. i ALWAYS cast this first, then Transfusion on the squishies, then i Sanguine Pool if they still are Clustered together, after that i will spam my Transfusion and Tides of blood.

Last whispers:

Hope you enjoyed reading. I will be adding more and more to this build if you guys feels there is something vital missing, please rate my build and even more important, ENJOY YOURSELF WITH THIS BUILD!

See you in-game.

Best regards,
DangerFromAbove
