Great guide!

I've tried the build a couple of times with decent results. My problem is that I normally end up something like 6-4-15. That is, I have problem getting kills since I can't seem to pack much punch (I'm used to playing the powerhouse nuker LeBlanc). So, I've got 2 questions:

1. Do you have any suggestions what to focus on to be more effective? (I'm level 14, so I don't got the runes or full mastery yet)

2. It seems like it take forever to get the items in the build (perhaps since I dont get any kills until level 10-14). Can you add a time line to your guide which states the average time you get the items in a normal game? ie. "At 6:30 - 7:30 get Hextech". That way one has some guide marks to strive for.

Yes.
1) I Suggest you're level 30. You start with 24 AP, 9 Magic Pen, and 13+(?+ armor with that build at level 1. And you should have your revolver by at least 5:00 in. I generally get Will of the Ancients by around 7~9 minutes? Go for Needlessly Large first before boots if you can afford it.
I'm debating incorporating a Haunting Guise, but i'm not completely sure with it.

Also, you have to time your spells and keep your E at 4 stacks if you want to get kills. This is a team fight build, making you super-tanky and a massive asset in any fight. It's capable of 1v1 nuking, but you generally rely on the fact that you're more fed than the team, so you're a few level above them. You can get a Void Staff earlier for Magic Penetration.

--; Gunblade is a terrible item on Vlad. Not worth it for the extra stats, cost just as much as a Needlessly Large+ something else. Build 2 uses the SPirit Visage, but I haven't fully tested it yet.

Great, thanks! What do you think of switching Warmogs for Spirit Visage? The former is quite expensive, and Spirits Visage's Spell Vamp should go well with Will of the Ancients.

as I said above, I prefer swapping out the rylais crystal scepter with a spirits visage, the scepter proves a small bit of extra health ( compared to what u already get with warmogs ) and the cdr on spirit makes still makes his damage output larger. also the slow on tylais is not needed on vlad imho.

but yes u can swap it with warmogs as well, in lv 14 normal games it shouldnt really matter anyway :p

It does. If you have one and an ally has one, you both get the auras. =P
Dual AP metas often benefit greatly from two WoTA's.

It's unique to one person. If two people have the same aura item, it stacks. I'm not sure if this was intentional or a bug, but it's pretty sweet.
IE>
Your team is primarily Melee.
Master Yi purchases a Stark's Fervor,
Lee Sin purchases a Stark's Fervor.
When they are next to each other, they receive 40% Lifesteal, Attack Speed.

Same applies with any aura item.
