The guide is just displaying false data because of Vlad's passive. :p

And Because of the 6 item limit... It is calculating it as if you were:
Buying zhonyas, void staff, and abyssal scepter.
Selling the boots and will of the ancients.

Obviously you wouldn't ever do that. That is just how it is calculating it in your first build.

But because the passive isn't calculated it would still be wrong anyway even if you fixed that.

Very good build. Went 12-3-5 and 18-8-14 in ranked games. I really like the early WotA which gives extra laning power early. I sometimes swap the Warmog's with an other survivabilty depending on the enemy team. +1

Hey, I know you said in the guide to not use 2 in a ranked but I was pretty confident and liked build 1@3 so I decided to try it.

Its absolutely genius, I have been playing vlad for a bit not as long as you but I was thinking that if you did the math right the cd reduction would make him be almost insanly crazy fast and impossible to kill with spell vamp,

18-2-11 in my ranked game, thanks man.

The guide rocks hands down, I love number two and want to test it out more. It makes vlad extremely deadly.

Looks great other then the fact that the final mastery skill in utility only reduces the RECHARGE time of your SUMMONER SPELLS, NOT a 15% in cool-down reduction for champion abilities. Masteries should be 9/21/0 IMO.

Thanks brotato, I noted your suggestion and added more depth to the 'Masteries' section. Hopefulyl this clarifies my preference.

Very good build ! i voted + first time with this build 17:6:13

Thanks mang! It's very strong, and has a very wide skill ceiling in its usage.

Thanks man. Mobafire fails at accounting all the things I need. ]:

I appreciate you testing the #2 and #3 guide. I'm glad to see some people are having success with it. If you could screenshot a game or two where you won, I'd be happy to throw it up on my guide. :)
Build #2 relies on the fact that you'll be against an AP, and you want to out-sustain them in 1v1's, and team-fights. You sacrifice a little bit of damage, which isn't really significant, for a massive CDR buff and a very nice chunk of sustainability through your health and magic resistance: not to mention the increased regeneration.

It takes a long time to get used to this build, I know exactly what I can and can't do as soon as I see something, solely because I created this build and I've used it over 500+ games. Practice makes perfect, and that's especially true about Vladimir. If you don't play him enough, you won't win with any build on him.

His skill kit lets him be played by a lot of people, but demands high skill to master.

Most people think Vlad has been nerfed to death, but he hasn't. Just keep playing defensive until level 9, that's where the fun starts. If you farmed well you'll dominate Mid. Brand had pretty much no chance, i was surprised myself how much burst damage vlad can deal if he's got all his cooldowns ready.

Good build/guide, well written, thanks. Made me enjoy Vlad again.

I HATEE when people say he's been nerfed to death. They just suck ****s with him. He's fine as long as you know the items to build, and how to play him. Rarely will you ever encounter problems as Vladimir in mid. :D +rep to you sir
Typically, Vladimir doesn't do well before 9. But you can start raping people at Level 3-4 if you know what you're doing.

Vladimir laughs in the face of Brand and his silly skills. Ultimate? W. GG half of his damage.
Thanks for the comment!
