I've tried all the builds. I've tried the most popular AP/Nuke build. I've tried the less popular build where you start with a Ruby Crystal. After weeks and weeks (literally) of trial and error, this is the build that works best for me.

I have released a 3-part video series totally 30 minutes on how to play Vladimir on Youtube, you can view the video here (link to part one):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kBCz77OcLY

I won't go too in depth here, as most literally everything is covered in the Youtube video series (including on how to place yourself for ganks, how to play early in the lane, very in depth, and item build and the rest of the stuff covered on this page).

Please try the build before you comment or rate it. This is weeks of trial and error. The Soulstealer is a matter of preference, if you don't have the testosterone to keep your stacks up and want to play more passively I suggest building another Crystal Scepter in it's place. The ending items vary, and are up to personal preference, game momentum and enemy champion builds.

The intial items are standard boots pot pot. The reason for this is simply to completely maximize your time in lane. I try to stay in lane generally until 10 or 11 before I back with a SoulStealer and then I begin to gank. After that I complete my Scepter, create a Zonyas, another Scepter and finally if the game lasts long enough I grab a Lich Bane. The item build is sort of a hybrid of what already exists, but it's what works the best for me.

I dominate. Don't mistake it! Usually, even if the team loses I manage to get at least 15+/X/XX and I carry almost every game I play in a solo que.

Enjoy the build, thank me later!
