Vladimir is probably one of his weakest solotops. Also, just because your build is modeled after someone in challenger, it does not automatically make your build good.

Yes, Frozen Heart is one of the best armor items in the game, but there are better ones which suit Vladimir's needs specifically. It's not a 'one-size-fits-all' mentality. The better item might be Randuin's Omen, for example, since Vladimir scales well off from his hp/AP passive.

But, as I've said, I've seen a Gold player build Frozen Heart and he's a decent Vladimir player, if I recall correctly.

Now, on Spirit of the Spectral Wraith compared to Will of the Ancients, what are you trading off?

10% cooldown on Spirit of the Spectral Wraith for 30AP (aura, no less) on Will of the Ancients, not to mention the early Kage's lucky pick.

I don't care if Spectral Wraith is used by a pro, it's a ****ing stupid idea compared to WotA as core.

As I stress with all guides. Please try this build first before you question it. This build is modeled after "MRN Nientonsoh" Top solo Q in rank and he uses it in rank. Also Frozen heart is conceded one of the best armor item in the game. It lowers all auto attacks over all dps to you while giving you crazy armor.

The free is specced correctly, double checked. As for Hunter's Machete you are correct and edited it. But I still believe this is apart of vlad main item. Keep in mind that this item is also used in rank by "MRN Nientonsoh" top solo Q in rank. Its in his vlad build as well.

I personally never get iceborn so I just took it out. Glacial shroud is mainly for the armor and cooldown to give you that 40%. Building frozen late game is worth it even with out the mana. It is conceded one of the more cost effective item in the game by pro players. Not only giving you armor but slowing peoples attack by 20% over all lowering everyones dps to you.

Such a weird set of items.

Although I do recall a Gold player putting Frozen Heart on Vladimir once...

1. The Hunter's Machete tree items' bonus damage doesn't apply to minions.

2. Your offense tree is specced wrongly.

Don't build Glacial Shroud. is the way to go with armor, and if you need additional CDR just take and additional runes. Vladimir needs AP more than mana.

should you really insist on getting , a least explain more about it, it is a very unusual item choice.
