I have been playing Vlad for quite some time now, and this is my first guide for him, hope you guys try it out, and give me some feedback.

Rune choice is AP for early game dominance, and Magic Pen is to make up for not taking the classic caster boots, i've tried both, and i think that CDR boots are alot better choice for Vlad.

Classic caster build, just without mana talents in utility. You'll want to get blue buff as often as you can, and neutral buff duration mastery will help you use it to the max.

Now, i know that the build looks wierd, considering that 2 cheapest items are the last ones to get, but the thing is that Vlad is such a good farmer, that you can easily rush Rabbadons/Rylais before mid-game even. Spirit Visage, i dont see it used by many guides here, i think that its item made for Vlad. CDR, HP, +healing? Just go for it. Will of the Ancients, another great item for Vlad, i love when my Tides of Blood heal me instead of taking my HP. All in all, build that isn't that expensive, but carefully chosen with items really suited for Vlad.

You'll want to max out your Transfusion as fast as possible ofc, Sanguine Pool and Tides of Blood can be equally boosted imo, if you get 2-3 ranks of Tides of Blood, your abuse can be unbearable, and after you do your Tides of Blood followed by Transfusion combo twice, your opponent will be turrethumping for the next few mins. Doesnt mean you can't kill him tho :)

Ghost and Ignite, by far 2 best spells for Vlad, unmatched by any others. Ghost for escaping or turret diving combined with Sanguine Pool, Ignite to inflict MASSIVE dmg in combo with your ulti. When you get lvl 6, if you've abused well with your Transfusion, you can run in with the following combo: Ghost, run close to them (most will panic and start running back, since they should have less hp than you) - Transf - Ulti + Ignite - Transf - Pool. If they live through that, then they deserve to win. Kidding, if they actually live through that, follow and finish them off. You dont really need the pool if you are still faster than them. If they flash or ghost, run after them and when you reach them, pool and kill.

Not much to say, i've played this build countless times, and with it, you can easily take on 2-3 guys in lategame. I've taken penta-kills 2v5 multiple times, dominated whole teams more times than i can remember. Last tip, dont be reckless, but don't play like a typical caster. You are strong, you are tough, and with this build, you can run at them and make them run away in fear. Try it out, hope you enjoy it :)
