I have had the exact same theory about Pool vs Tides... increasing Tide's also increases the cost, so it doesn't scale as well as some seem to think, as this makes it more difficult to stack effectively. I think there is a common misconception that Sanguine Pool is something you always save for low health, but its' damage scales with how much bonus health you have, so this isn't really true. Anyway, I can see why you might go either way, but I personally prefer the Sanguine because the diminishing Cooldown is a clear advantage: Tide's of Blood increases it's cost as it levels(with an exponential increase when stacking) but doesn't multiply the damage by any more, which will increase due to AP anyway.

Not bad, the quintessences are questionable but other than that it looks good.

Disagree with the Majej's on Vlad.

Not voting on this because every ******** Vladimir guide that comes out seems to be a copy-paste of mine.
Aside from the fact that most of the things discussed, item build (exact same as mine, just subtract the Warmog's, and move around some purchases.
But other than that, good concepts... I guess. Can't read this without seeing mine. But hey,
Good effort.

>Void Staff is more beneficial if you're looking for penetration.
>Abyssal Scepter should only be used as a last resort purchase for MR
>9/21/0 sucks ***, don't even do it. This isn't the old Vladimir.

Also I wouldn't suggest getting CDR runes. Just grab a blue buff whenever you can.

btw you should consider the 9/21/0 masteries or atleast suggest them..the armour/m.res and 4% ap is pretty good..not to mention the 48 HP and 4% DMG reduction..these help you alot early game and late game(mostly the 4%ap ^^).

I have personally tried the 9/21/0 build, it is mainly good for new Vladimir players who need that extra bit of tankiness. However, I personally find the extra 6% CDR and the summoner spells cool down reduction, with extra experience and reduced death timer to be much more useful for Vladimir throughout the entire game.

I will I add a note to my mastery section about this, since 9/21/0 is very viable, I just personally don't like it.
