Okay, so....

I usually hate Doran's items but a Doran's sheild is pretty good on him considering his W. I start off with my Q for initiation purposes. Then frenzy because it does pretty good damage and coupled with your Q, you'll definitively get out one W. Next your majestic roar will absolutely ensure a W on an enemy champion, but it's good for clearing a minion wave. Then, max out your W. Getting your ulti at level six, obviously, but what you can't put in your W, but in your Q, maxing E last. Of course, you can to the exact opposite if you want. Now, Voli's ulti isn't all that great. It's good in a team fight and sometimes you can get a snipe if someone with like 50 health is right next to a minion wave. So, use it in teams fights but also use it to clear out minion waves. It has a relatively short cool down, so by all means. Besides, you'll need it to help farm for your warmog's. Speaking of which, I get warmogs first for obvious reasons. The obvious damage on your W and the obviously awesome amount of health/regen. Boots of swiftness to catch those pesky runners with your Q. Force of nature for the awesome regen, magic resist, and movement speed. Frozen mallet for the health and damage (not only on your W but also for yourself). And Atma's because you'll have plenty of health by now and it should be mid-late game and you'll need the damage. And, finally, a rylai's because of the health (who would have thought), the damage on your E and the extra slow that stacks with your E. Now, as a health tank, you'll be initiating. So don't go pissing yourself whenever a team fight seems imminent. HOWEVER, don't go throwing your life away by initiating with no one around. Initiate ganks, ect. You know what, you're a smart kid. You know what an initiator does. Anyway, over all, this build will get you a ton of health, regen, and, believe it or not, a ton of damage.
