Introduction
Smite, you're jungling, duh. For heal, it gives you a great heal which, when combined with passive can heal almost 40% of your health early game and a little less late game. Heal can also help you take dragon or just keep you in the jungle longer. You can substitute it for ghost for massive speed steroids or better movement in teamfights. Overall, there aren't really any other spells you'd want to take.
Passive: Chosen of the Storm
Heals volibear for 30% of his Maximum Health over 6 seconds when he drops below 30% Health.
120 second cooldown
Explanation:
Mini Mundo ult. I see nerfs in it's future but its amazing with a 2 minute cooldown and has such sustainability on it, it's great.
Q: Rolling Thunder
Volibear gains 45% Movement Speed while moving toward enemy champions. Lasts 4 seconds.
Volibear's next attack deals an additional 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 physical damage and flings the target behind him.
12/11/10/9/8 second Cooldown
Costs 40 Mana
Explanation:
Movement speed steroid and it's a singed fling except it also takes less mana on it and does alot of damage with trinity force.
W: Frenzy
Passive: Volibear gains 8% Attack Speed with each attack. Stacks up to 3 times.
Active: When Volibear has (3) stacks of Frenzy, he can bite an enemy to deal (90/140/190/240/290) (+20% of bonus Health) physical damage, increased by (1)% for each (1)% health the target is missing.
Cooldown 18 Seconds
Cost 35 Mana
Explanation:
Volibear's bread and butter, it gives some great attack speed and a massive nuke if they're at low health. It's great and gives good attack speed.
E: Majestic Roar
Volibear deals (60/95/130/165/200) (+60% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies and slow them by 30% for 3 seconds.
Cooldown 11 Seconds
Cost 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 mana
Explanation:
Cool aoe slow bro. So it basically is aoe damage/cc.
R: Thunder Claws
Volibear channels the storm, causing all basic attacks for (12) seconds to deal (75/115/155) (+30% of ability power) magic damage, which chains to 4 nearby enemies.
Cost 100 Mana
Cooldown 100 / 90 / 80 seconds
Explanation:
Gives cool aoe dmg in teamfights and it's great for when your even fighting 1v1 cause of the extra damage.

So for the route start at blue, then head to wolves, wraiths, golems, red, gank, golems or enemy blue if it's not taken. after golems head to wraiths, then wolves and keep clearing jungle until you have enough gold for items. I like to just farm volibear unless my team needs ganking. By mid game you should have the highest or second highest farms on your team. Volibear is a fun and good jungler so try some routes yourself, see what works.
