Hello and welcome to The Testing Grounds. A simple place for you to see what I am currently working on on the basis of coding (Which will be referred to as the "TG")

You can comment your questions you may have or even submit something you want to be in TTG. If I approve of it, I will enter it into the "Submitted Codes" section which I will create at a later date. The best way to submit a code to the TG will be to PM me.

This is not so much a guide as it is a "Testing Grounds" ^_^
I will occasionally release a cool piece of coding for others to freely use if they so choose to. This is merely a place for me to experiment with things I think of and for you to watch if you chose and try to figure it out along with me

Most likely, I will be adding new tests frequently. Note that this page has no set schedule, and I will only be uploading things when I feel like it

This page is to be a friendly environment filled with all the tips and tricks of MOBAFire. One question I have for you is:
Should this page continue to be a "Guide" page or should I make it
a "Forum" page?

Let me start off this section by explaining to you how I create my guides
  • Step 1: Find your champion
Think about what champion you want to make a guide for, make sure you know how to play him/her, know a viable build that you've tested, know the in's and out's of that champion, know him/her like the back of your hand. Don't make a guide on a champion you have never played or have minimal knowledge of
  • Step 2: Have a point to your guide
If you don't have a valid reason that your guide is some how better than any of the other guides of that champion on MOBAFire then do...not...make...it. Have a goal, a point that you are trying to bring across in your guide that no one else may know, weather it may be coding wise, playstyle, build, whatever just try to be number 1
  • Step 3: Organize
Get your information set and written out, set up your sections in your guide, get the images you are going to be using in your guide. I usually customize the splash art that riot has created to meet my standards and put an overlay then label it to whatever the section is.
    example
  • Step 4: Start writing
Now is when I will begin writing my guide. I'll usually start by telling a bit about myself then I will go straight into the Pros & Cons of the champion. Make sure to use BBCoding, that is what the people are looking for, a good looking guide that tells facts, tips, and tricks, about any particular champion

I just learned how to make a gif ^.^ click here then scroll up to see the original thread by YayaFTW!

I will input the steps in an "easier to read" format
  • Step 1: go to youtube and find the video you want to make a gif
  • Step 2: go to keepvid.com and follow the little instruction box on the top right of the page
  • Step 3: once you have your video downloaded open up PhotoShop in the 32bit version
  • Step 4: go to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers
  • Step 5: now select your file and import it
  • Step 6: now you need to find where the video repeats itself and clip the rest of the images from there on, (so that it will look like one clean video, with no large skipping, It may take some time to find it)
  • Step 7: when you are done with all that, go to File > Save for Web
These are the settings I used in my gif and in YayaFTW's gif that he created
Now all you have to do is upload it to deviantart.com and select a random image for the preview. Then you can copy the image url and paste it into your mobafire editor with the code >
