Welcome! !!!READ THIS!!!

So Warwick is probably the easiest champion to jungle with, and one of the strongest 1v1 champions.

I know what you're thinking "another Warwick jungle build". anyways before jumping to any conclusions, please read the build! Anyways i cant say that this build will make you win, nor that it's better then all the other Warwick builds on mobafire, but it is splendid!

if there's something you dont like (skill sequence, runes, items or summoner spells, please read the guide. don't just down-rate before even reading it.

The story of Warwick

We all know that Warwick is a werewolf of some kind with super cool abilities. but with some of his skins he is actually quite cute, like tibbers(when he hasn't been summoned).
So "obviously" Warwick got owned by Soraka... (it sounds preposterous, i know), and then she turned him into a werewolf and became a healer(no i don't know what powers she had before).

for more information:

Warwick counted himself amongst the most powerful and revered men in his home city-state of Zaun. Over the course of his infamous career as an alchemist, Warwick won many honors for his craft, not the least of which was a lucrative offer for service in the Noxian military during their campaigns against Ionia. Sequestered in his labs far from the front lines, Warwick and his apprentice Singed toiled relentlessly to manufacture all manner of appalling concoctions for the Noxian army. So potent was his art that even the greatest of Ionia's healers - under the leadership of the Starchild Soraka - struggled to combat the poisons and chemical weapons generated by his despicable mind. Warwick's reign of terror grew so horrific that his very name became a curse in the eyes of his Ionian foes, and they began referring to him only as ''the Deathmaker.''

But even one under the protection of the Noxian High Command is not wholly beyond the reach of retribution. For as Soraka strode across the myriad of death and destruction left in the wake of one of Warwick's chemical attacks, her heart finally gave way. She called down the wrath of the cosmos on Warwick, wishing that his form should mirror the cruelty in his heart - a curse that would come at the price of her aspiring divinity. Within his laboratory, a terrible thirst took hold over Warwick. As his apprentice looked on in horror, Warwick threw open the doors to his bastion and sprinted off toward parts unknown, a bloodcurdling howling marking his passage. He had become a werewolf; a wild, murderous beast. Today, the Blood Hunter fights for Noxus within the League of Legends... thankful of the curse that his now-mortal enemy bestowed upon him.

so there you got it. wasn't the smartest move by Soraka

Jungling with Warwick

Warwick is imo the easiest jungler, thanks to Eternal Thirst. eternal thrist, ill explain what it does later on in this build.

Having Smite when jungling is something most people have and makes tons of difference, but smite isn't that usefull lategame, okay for stealing baron or dragon but other than that, neh. so if you're a jungler that prefers Smite then you should check out "Warwick, Jungle King" a very good build! but i dont jungle with smite.

This map shows you a simple way to go when jungling. this works just fine if you're the only jungler in the game.So basically 1-6 is te start. after that you can decide to to keep on doing that route or taking the enemy jungle, it's much more risky though and you will need sight ward's in that case.

1. start the game by taking out both golems, after this you'll reach lvl 2
2. Continue with the 4 reapers, consume a Health Potion
Hint: try not to use Hungering Strike too much, being out of mana before even getting to blue buff is not good.
3. Head over to the wolfes, consume a Health Potion if required.
4. Now it's time to kill Ancient Golem, also know as Blue Buff/Mana Buff.
5. Head over to Red buff, taking out red buff with the blue buff is easy.
6. Recall and buy Berserker's Greaves. with these boots and the red buff pursuing will not be a problem.
7. since you don't get the bonus gold from Smite getting a kill is crucial! after your route go gang a lane, ghost/exhaust and hope you and your teammates get a kill or two!

After these steps you can do whatever you must, help lanes, jungle, defend, gang etc.

8. if there is no enemy jungler going to the enemy side's jungle and taking the buffs there is fine, try putting out a ward so if an enemy cmes you can easily get away in time. don't do this if there is an enemy jungler!
9. Warwick can take out dragon at level 4! though i highly recommend that you take the dragon out a bit later on, between 6 and 8 would be fine. dragon gives global gold for the team, always support your team!

im not going to add any pictures, the jungling part is very simple so i think most of you will handle it very well! Note that warwick is a safe jungler, but not a fast one compared to other junglers.

Pros & Cons

Pros

- Tank Crusher
- Insane Lifesteal
- High attack speed early- and late-game
- Easy focusing enemy carry with Infinite Duress
- High movement speed
- One of the best 1v1 champions
- Suppress
- Attack speed buff (applies for nearby allies)

Cons

- Requires high movement speed since he has no slowing ability
- Easily focused
- Bad ganker before level 6
- Infinite Duress can easily get interrupted
- Dependent on Lizard Elder and Ancient Golem

As you can see Warwick is very dependent on his movement speed, without Lizard Elder 's buff he doesn't have any slow of any kind. And if Warwick is being kited by Ashe for example he will never catch up, if he doesn't use Ghost, Flashh or Exhaust.

Warwick - The Blood Hunter

Eternal Thirst - Warwick steals 6/12/18 health and this amount stacks with each consecutive hit up to 3 times. the amount of health is increased by 6.
This passive is what makes Warwick's jungling so easy, this passive is also insanely good late game

That makes it:
Level 1-6: 6/12/18/24
Level 7-12: 12/24/36/48
Level 13-18: 18/36/54/62

Fully stacked 24/48/62 health + life steal. with an attack speed of 2.000 to 2.500 will basically make warwick unkillable. even if he is exhausted this passvie will still work, it's only weakness is Ignite.

Hungering Strike - Warwick Takes a bite out of enemy unit for damage and heals Warwick.
Strikes an enemy for the greater value between 75/125/175/225/275 (+1) and 8/11/14/17/20% of the target's maximum health (can only do flat damage to monsters), and heals Warwick for 100% of the damage dealt.
Cost
60/70/80/90/100 Mana
Range
400

Do not use this ability too much if you dont have ancient golem 's buff. Warwickgets out of mana very fast without it.

Hunters Call - Warwick lets out a howl, increasing all nearby friendly champions' attack speed for a short time.
Warwick lets out a howl that inspires all nearby allied champions. This increases Warwick's attack speed by 40/50/60/70/80% and all nearby friendly champions' attack speed by half of that for 10 seconds.
Cost
35/35/35/35/35 Mana
Range
20

I try to get this ability to rank 5 first, with more attack speed Warwick will sustain longer with his passive. Hunters Call is also very good when it comes to taking out turrets.

Warwick's base attack speed is 0.665 hunters call will increase it with 0.266 at level 1. Warwick's attack speed is a total of 0.931 on level one with hunters call activated.

furthermore using a whole page with only tier 3 attack speed runes will give you 38% attack speed. this will add another 0.252 to your attack speed. giving a total of 1.183 attack speed on level one.

Calculations: 0.665 / 100 = 0.00665 x 40 = 0.266. 0.665 / 100 = 0.00665 x 78(40 + 38) = 1.183

Blood Scent - Warwick passively senses weakened enemy champions around him. The scent of blood sends him into a fury, causing him to move at incredible speeds.
Toggle: Warwick senses enemy champions under 50% life within 1500/2300/3100/3900/4700 distance of him; while he detects a low-health enemy, he gains 20/25/30/35/40% Movement Speed.
Cost
No Cost
Range
20

the movement speed is crucial for warwick to keep up when pursuing. i take this ability at level 8 because i usually wont need it before then. for you who want it earlier can take it at level 4. this ability reveals you as well, so having it activated when taking enemy buffs, waiting for someone in jungle or backdooring, it might risk to reveal you.

Infinite Duress - Warwick lunges at an enemy Champion, suppressing his target and dealing damage for a few seconds.
Warwick lunges at an enemy Champion, suppressing his target for 1.7 seconds. While they are suppressed, Warwick quickly strikes the target 5 times for 33% of his attack damage plus 40/60/80. Warwick gains an additional 30% lifesteal while performing Infinite Duress.
Cost
100/125/150 Mana
Range
700

This ultimate combined with Madred's Bloodrazor and Black Cleaver is insane, the utlimate will take 20% of the enemies health in damage and decrease the targets armor by 45, due to the lowered armor you will take more damage with your basic attacks directly after the ultimate is done channeling.

It's a ultimate that can initiate ganks but i would suggest not to since you usually get focused when jumping in. go into the fight/gank see how it goes. if you're losing use it, if you are winning save it and use the ultimate if you must.

drop the enemy champion to over 50% (they usually flash away after losing that much and realizing they've lost. now Blood Scent is active and you can easily use Infinite Duress to finish of the fleeing champion. catching up will not be a problem. only if they flash through a wall/object.

Skill Sequence

The Skill Sequence- is very easy, and to be honest doesn't quite matter how you do it. personally i try to get Hunters Call to rank 5 first. The attack speed combined with a red buff will guarantee you getting a kill, Warwick himself has a high amount of base-damage.

Blood Scent is usually picked on level 4 or level 8, earlier than level 4 will slow down your jungling and later than level 8 will grant you pursuing problems. personally i pick this skill on level 8, but if your team is having problems on the lanes taking this early on will make ganking and pursuing easier.

Hungering Strike, most people focus this skill with warwick, i don't due to the mana cost and because it's not crucial to have it at rank 5 while jungling. though if you have to step in alot on the lanes and defend turrets this will keep your health up, ranking up Hungering Strike or Hunters Call to rank 5 first depends on the games current state.

Infinite Duress is to be picked on level 6,11 and 16 as usual. try to time getting items and reach level 6 so that you can gank as soon as possible.

Masteries

Masteries - these masteries are the standard jungling masteries, the extra XP will grant you more XP for keeping up with the lanes, increase Mana Regeneration and the durability of Neutral buffs is all to endure the jungling process.

playing 21-9-0 works as well but will not make your jungling as convenient as it is with the jungling masteries.

Runes

Picking runes can be hard sometimes, if you're quite new with runes then reading the "Rune Tips" build by Searz will help out alot! it explains everything about runes.

Your text to link here...
I usually choose full attack speed runes, increasing my attack speed early on really speeds up the jungling, the runes are expensive but worth the costs
Greater Mark of Attack Speed - 410 x 9 = 3690 IP
Greater Seal of Attack Speed - 410 x 9 = 3690 IP
Greater Glyph of Attack Speed - 410 x 9 = 3690 IP
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed - 1025 x 3 = 3076 IP
it's a total of 14145 IP. that's a lot of IP but it's worth it! this is actually wuite cheap, some mark's, seal's and glyph's cost up to 820 each! and some quintessences cost up to 2050 IP each!

Armor penetration will drop the minions faster, personally i like to use armor penetration with champions with flat damage abilities.
Mana regen runes are efficient when jungling or just having some kind of mana regeneration.
Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration will give you a good amount of mana regen. it's like having a Meki Pendant on level 18, (just that it doesn't take up any slots).

Items

This item build is quite expensive, so getting early kills is very crucial and slaying alot of minions! so let's go through the item-build!

Madred's Bloodrazor - +30 Attack Damage +40% Attack Speed +25 Armor UNIQUE Passive: On hit, deals Magic Damage equal to 4% of the target's maximum Health.
Price: 3500
The Black Cleaver - +55 Attack Damage +30% Attack Speed UNIQUE Passive: Physical attacks reduce your target's Armor by 15 for 5 seconds (maximum 3 stacks).
Price: 2865
Phantom Dancer - +55% Attack Speed +30% Critical Strike +15% Movement Speed.
Price: 2845
The BloodThirster - +60 Attack Damage +15% Lifesteal Passive: Gain an additional 1 Physical Damage and 0.25% Lifesteal per kill. Maximum of +40 Damage and 10% Lifesteal. Bonuses are lost upon death.
Price: 3000
Frozen Mallet - +700 Health +20 Attack Damage UNIQUE Passive: Your attacks reduce your target's Movement Speed by 40% for 2.5 seconds (30% for ranged attacks).
Price: 3250
Infinity Edge - +80 Attack Damage +25% Critical Strike UNIQUE Passive: Critical hits now deal 250% damage instead of 200%.
Price: 3830

The items are not quite in order but this is the 6 items, you dont usually get all these items, only if it's a long game or if you have 15+ kills.

Cloth Armor
Price: 300

Price: 35

Start off with a Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potion's, (5 Health Potion's are not required to survive the jungle, 3 would be enough) but i prefer 5 Health Potion's just to keep my health quite high if i have to help in the lanes

Berserker's Greaves
Price: 920
Vampiric Scepter
Price: 450

First time heading back grab these boots, getting boots early even as a jungler is very important! don't forget that without movement speed, you will never catch up! if you can afford a Vampiric Scepter buy it aswell.

After buying these boots try to gank alot and keep the jungling moving on, when building up your Madred's Bloodrazor make sure you do it in the right order as displayed:
Recurve Bow
Price: 1050
madred's RazorMadred's Razor
Price: 1000
Pickaxe
Price: 975

and then build into a Madred's Bloodrazor it's a very expensive item but is so worth it!

after getting this item farming and jungling will be easier than ever, and eternal duress takes huge amounts of damage combined with madred's 20% of their maximum health + the abilities damage!

The Black Cleaver

getting this item will go fast, usually the ganks starts to occur after finishing Madred's Bloodrazor. the black cleaver's passive will decrease their armor combined with the ulti, after their armor is low and pursuing wont be a problem.

Phantom Dancer

this is a fantastic item, it gives basically everything a melee dps wants, crit chance, attack speed and movement speed. in our case the movement speed and attack speed are most important. this item will grant easier pursuing, which basically is all he needs. warwick being able to run and hit fast at the same time is what he needs the most!

The Bloodthirster
Stark's Fervor

The next item is to boost the lifesteal up, i go with Bloodthirster because stacking up that extra damage and lifesteal is easy with ww, he's a great farmer! though if you're up against a lot of high health opponents then grabbing a stark's fervor wont be so bad either to boost up the attack speed even more. this decision is usually made by the current state of the game. if you're going to go with stark's fervor then i'd advice to get Emblem of valor earlier.

Frozen Mallet
Infinity Edge

These two last items dont have a special order, having problems pursuing or sustaining in ganks, buy Frozen Mallet. if you're dominating the enemies and surviving in most ganks getting Infinity Edge will boost up your damage. i do recommend to at least get a page earlier on. it's impossible to always have a red buff.

before getting Black Cleaver you can buy Zeal or page. these two items will make it easier to pursue the opponent.

Having problems surviving? then build him like this;
Mercury's threads
Madred's Bloodrazor
Spirit Visage
Sunfire Aegis
Black Cleaver
Bloodthirster

this is just a simple way to change him into a bit more tanky dps ww. he will have huge amounts of damage so dont worry. build him like this if you're having issues sustaining.

Summoner Spells

Choosing the correct summoner spells makes a huge difference. let's go through all the summoner spells and take up what's good and what's bad about them when it comes to warwick using them.

Exhaust - one of the strongest summoner spells you can get slows and reduces damage, what more do you need? this is a must have with warwick!
Heal - Heal can be a life saver in some situations and it makes people feel safer, but there's more summoner spells that can give you such much more. warwick's Hungering Strike and Passive grants him health so heal is not required with warwick.
Revive - instantly being revived can be usefull in some situations. though i would never use it.
Smite - warwick is a born jungler and jungling with smite is great! i don't use it in this build but smite works great with every jungler and makes life so much easier!
Teleport - teleport is a summoner spell everyone loves. being able to move around the whole map is gives map control. if you're out of mana, low on health or need to buy something you can just recall, and then teleport back in a few seconds! very convenient for every mid player, i don't use it though.
Cleanse - a very strong summoner spell that removes any cc and lowers the durability by new ones. this is one of the best summoner spells yet no one uses it. although getting a pair for mercury threads or any kind of tenacity item will do.
Fortify - this summoner spell makes every friendly turret invulnerable for a short amount of time and grants it double attack speed. this summoner spell is most common for tanks to have, it's a very good summoner spell. if you are gonna have this ability make sure to have the mastery for it(50% splash damage) so all the minions will die.
Clarity - you won't need clarity since when jungling with warwick grabbing the blue buff is a priority. You wont be out of mana that often.
Ignite - this summoner spell is good with every champion, it takes that last bar that they always get away with.
- if you were thinking of using this summoner spell... just don't and if you use this summoner spell, uninstall the game.
Clairvoyance - a great summoner spell, not with warwick though, leave this to the support champion in the team.
Flash - now this is THE BEST summoner spell on league of legends. it can be used to get abilities into range such as stuns, fears taunts slows, etc. or it can be used to get away in those moments. they think they're gonna get u than BAM! u just flashed through a wall and made it.
Ghost - is not as good for escaping as flash but when it comes to pursuing with ww, ghost + some kind of slow on the opponent, he is dead for sure.

Updates/Changes

-Summoner spell display changed (due to people not reading the guide and jumping to conclusions). That this build is a "non-smite" build. which is not true, my only statement was that i personally did not jungle with smite, but the guide itself never says you shouldn't. more the other way around.
