Summary
Set your mastery's up in a standard 21 - 9 - 0 format. Tryndamere, while isn't squishy, can be easily run over by other high dps champions. Since his items aren't helping this cause, this defense mastery's help him in some situations where extra armor and magic resist are needed. While it may not seem like much it can be the life saver in some situations. Since Tryndamere is an offense based champion it only makes sense to put most mastery points into offense. The most important offense mastery's being lethality and alacrity. Tryndamere performs best when he can consistently put out critical strikes quickly, and that do high damage.
Items are set up to compliment each other. The executioners calling is a great item at the beginning because it increases critical strike chance (as mentioned before critical strikes are pretty much what Tryndamere runs on) and gives you life steal. This allows you to regain health by clearing minion waves. Combine with bloodlust you can have all your health back in no time, provided you not being harassed by enemy champions.
Summoner spells aren't terribly important. But heal is unnecessary because Tryndamere already can easily get back health. I recommend going with Ignite and Exhaust. If you can pick up early kills, great. Ignite will pick up the kills where they just barely get away. Exhaust is trying to prevent them FROM barely getting away. Stacking exhaust with mocking shout, or using them back to back is a great way to easily catch up to enemy champions. When chasing, its better to slow them down to speed up. The point is for them to not get to their destination.
