Hi, my name is Lewis and I've been playing Xin Zhao for a long time, since season 2. I just updated it for this season so I hope you enjoy my improved build. This season I've found just the right build to almost guarantee you a win every game. I have helped 3 of my friends carry themselves out of Bronze by teaching them to play Xin Zhao with this build and I even carried myself out of Bronze with Xin. He is the most under rated champ in League and its crazy he isn't banned every game. If you follow this guide from the runes down to the summoner spells, you will win. Now, don't chastise me for not making a super lengthy guide. It just seems unreasonable and unnecessary. I'm giving you exactly what you NEED to win, nothing more.

YES MID! I know you guys think its absolutely unheard of to go Xin mid, and it kind of never happens, but its actually the one place you want Xin to be if he is on your team. You have the GREATEST pushing power of any champ and for an AP mid its like trying to stop a brick wall that beats your *** with a spear. This build is what I use for both top and mid lanes, and it is unstoppable. His DPS is just too much for most champs to handle in 1v1. So please don't be afraid to break the meta and take this unsung hero mid lane.

Tanks will beat you

These runes are pretty op. Most folks go flat damage but armor penetration combined with Xins Three Talon Strike and his passive Challenge with make you a killing machine. If you are going mid against an AP heavy team, then make sure to have a nother run page setup. I have one rune page that give me +19 armor pen and +armor for ad heavy teams, and my other is +19 armor pen with +19 magic resist. I switch out the Greater Seal and Glyph of Armor for the Magic Resist.

If you buy the items I have laid out out in the above items sets in the exact order and timing, you will win. Mid game Items are situational but don't deter from that list unless absolutely necessary. Like for a full AP team, Get everything instead of Randuin's Omen and replace that with a Banshee's Veil, if against full AD team keep your build the same, they still cant stop you. These items are essential, and when combined, are the most unbeatable force in League.

DON'T BE AFRAID. Hands down, since you will be running heal and ignite, there is no room for running away. You must fight and you will die, so make sure to take someone with you. Also remember; TO THE DEATH. Stay to take a turret as long as possible.trading a turret for a death is well worth the gold trade for your team, even if your whole team dies, it still doesn't equal the gold from a single turret. SO DON'T RUN. Also blue buff is essential mid and late game so be sure to grab it, you will be able to push forever. Oh, and use Ravenous Hydras active. Move it to item slot 3 and spam your Three Talon Strike and Battle Cry with Ravenous Hydras active with obliterate anyone. JUST BUTTON MASH. As far as creeps and jungle go, KILL EVERYTHING. Your sole purpose as Xin is to destroy everything in front of you. Farm everything. When it comes to your team, stay away from them unless you are needed in a team fight. You will be farming so much faster and harder than them that you will actually put them so stay in your lane until both turrets are gone then roam and start over.
