Hello fellow runeterrans, it has came to my attention that mobafire does not have a half decent AP amumu build. This is why I am posting mine, do not feel restricted to the build above, as there are many other builds in which I will list depending on the opponents. Please try this build before playing, and remeber AP amumu is not a troll build, it is more effective than an ap or magic resist galio. That being said...

For items there are many possible ways to build an AP amumu. This all should be based on the enemies team, but for those who just want to try this build out, I made a general all-around build.

If the opponents team is...

Mostly AP, get: dorans ring, merc/sorc boots, RoA, Ab Scepter or banshees, Rylais, Rabadon's, Void staff.

Stacked MR/All-around/Pure Nuke: Build on top

Physical damage: top build with an armour item.

Do 1 on E to creep farm, then priority: R,Q,E,W.
If opponent team is extremely HP tank (vlad, jarvan, jax, etc) get Q maxed before E.
