Okay, my first build. Please be nice :P

I've had pretty good success with this - it's not intended to get kills, but be almost impossible to shift from the lane.

High health, high health regen (~50/sec), etc. means you rarely have to head back to base, and the times you do teleport can take you back quickly (it's also useful for changing lanes late game to defend a turret if necessary).

Early game, harass with rupture and kill creeps. Scream gets one point for the silence, but mostly you should be mowing down creeps with vorpal+rupture. Mark the lane as your territory, stop the enemy from pushing, deprive them of creep kills, and get as many as you can yourself. Learning to judge the timing of rupture is a key skill, as there's a significant delay between triggering and appearance. On the plus side, the animation is very subtle, and often the enemy won't realise it's been triggered. If you are forced to fall back, dropping the rupture on yourself means a pursuing champion walks right onto it, giving you vital seconds to reach a friendly turret.

There's no movement boosts, so you won't be able to pursue much, but that's okay. Getting them to run away and try a different lane is what you're here for. A lot of Cho'gath play is psychological. He's an imposing model (especially with maxed feast), and if things do start looking dicey, pop cleanse and waddle back to your nearest turret, then stand there looking smug while your health visibly fills back up :D

Once you've got feast, start munching down creeps to get the health boost, but don't neglect the 300 real damage it does to champions - nothing puts the wind up a level 6 hero more than 3/4 of their health suddenly vanish. Again, while killing them is nice, it's the pure terror of having your face bitten off by something that WILL. NOT. DIE. you primarily want to induce. Stop the enemy thinking rationally, and the rest is just mop up.

Late game, you should have six stacks of health, take up the entire lane, and can save your feast for ripping bloody chunks out of opponent's health. A group push with you as the linchpin will be hard to stop.

Anyway, thanks for reading all that, and please feel free to offer improvements and suggestions. I'm fairly new, so no doubt I have a lot to learn, but so far this has worked pretty well for me, so I figured I'd offer it up on the altar of the internet :P
