It is important that you understand this build gives HP, but does not mean she should be in the middle of the battle. Try to stay behind your lane partner and pick the best time to get your combo in.
Crescendo Is the way i like to start in a team fight as it gives you that much needed advantage.
After using Crescendo switching between Hymn of Valor and Aria of Perseverance will allow you to maximise damage from your passive Power Chord and will keep your team alive with a health advantage.
It is best to always save Song of Celerity for the escape or chase rather then being stuck with nothing but fresh air.
When using Hymn of Valor always try to get on the outside of enemy minions or a big battle to target two enemy champions at a time. This will increase the fear in there hearts and maximise damage.

Ok let me explain why i do not Level Aria of Perseverance and Hymn of Valor at the same speed like most sona builds.
In early game it is always best to maximise kills and assists for your gold income, this is where Hymn of Valor will complete that task with its double hit and decent damage. In early game when damage and health is low Aria of Perseverance is not needed as much as players like to think.
