Hello! My name is jlpan (kinda boring). If you have
previously read this guide and thought it sucked, i have changed the items to represent a more typical AD carry build. Also, my rune and mastery choices may not be the best since I have not unlocked all masteries or runes. This is my very first guide, which I am extremely proud of. I am a level 18 summoner, and I am not the best at League of Legends. However, I know quite a bit about a few champions. Specifically, Ashe, Tristana, Warwick, Nasus, and Nidalee. I plan on making guides for all of these champions in the next few months. By that time I should be around level 30, and I have a greater knowledge of the game. But without further delay, I present to you, my Ashe guide.
I have played over 50 games with Ashe, so all
of this info is based off of personal experience. Again, i'm only level 18, so please give me constructive criticism. Ashe is a very good ad carry that can only be played as ad carry. She is a late game beast and can 1 on 1 anyone with the proper items. She is very easy to learn but hard to master. Once you become great at Ashe, you will dominate the rift(or treeline).

If you use this mastery page you must note that it will make
you extremely squishy. You will probably be a lot squishier than you would like. However, if you can position yourself well in a teamfight and you are able to kite, the reduced health and armor should not be a problem.
I do not use masteries much since I am only a level 18, so I
grabbed the masteries that I thought would benifit ashe the most. I did mainly offense because I felt that ashe needs all the base ad that she can get, since she is very item dependent. Also, the offensive masteries will give you an early game boost that will help you for the late game.
I put a few points into defense, because Ashe needs a bit of
extra protection. I focused mainly on health and armor, since your laning opponent should not be an AP based champion. Again, I do not know much about masteries so do not completely rely on this page that I created.

Flash: This should be standard on all of your champions unless you're one of the people that are awful with flash.

Ghost: This can help get you out of sticky situations, since Ashe is very squishy and often targeted.

Ignite: This will help you finish off a kill if the enemy champion is getting away. I usually do not use ignite because Enchanted Crystal Arrow will create the same effect, except not as powerful.

Heal: Only use this if you are first starting the game and need extra lane sustain. If you are experience you should be able to keep your health up by taking advantage of Ashe's range and slows.

Exhaust: This is ok if you need to slow your enemy down a bit more. I usually do not take this because ashes Frost Shot is enough to keep your enemies from running away.

Teleport: Only bring this if you need extra map pressure.

Barrier: This is a great last resort defense mechanism. I do not bring this because flash and ghost are usually enough to get away.

Clarity: You have mana glyphs for a reason.

Revive: Just No.

Cleanse: Just flash and then ghost.

Smite: You're not jungling.

Clairvoyance: You have wards for a reason.

Abilities and Ability Sequence

Focus: This is practically a free critical hit. If you do not attack for 3 seconds, stacks of focus will build up. Once 100 stacks build up, the next attack will be a critical hit. Focus is great for poking your laning opponent for extra damage, or starting a teamfight.

Frost Shot: Frost shot slows anything you hit by 15/20/25/30/35 percent. This can be toggled on and off and will be applied to basic attacks. This is great for chasing enemy champions, frost shot is very mana heavy.

Volley: Volley fires 7 arrows doing 40/50/60/70/80+AD. Volley also applies the effect of frost shot. Volley is great for laning and harrassing, and it can hit every target during a teamfight. It also has a longer range than auto-attack if someone is barely getting away.

Hawkshot: Hawkshot gives 3 extra gold per any kill. It also allows ashe to fire a scouting hawk that travels 2500,3250,4000,4750,5500 distance. It also reveals enemies in bushes. This is great if you suspect a gank and can't get a ward up.

Enchanted Crystal Arrow: The mega arrow deals 250/425/600 and deals half that damage to nearby enemies. It has unlimited range and stuns harder the further it travels. Enchanted Crystal Arrow is great for initiating a teamfight, because your team can attack when the enemy team is stunned.

Item Explanations

Start

I take Doran's blade first for some extra health and attack damage to help during early game. The small amounts of 'lifesteal' also help keep your health up early game. All in all, this item fits Ashe's early game playstyle and help her become the late game beast that she is.

A warding totem is a must for basically every champion. Its a free ward that lasts for 60 seconds and has a 120 second cooldown. If you and your support both bought warding totems your lane can be kept warded forever at no cost.

Alternate Start

I take boots of speed for a bit of extra early game speed. This is very helpful when laning against a melee opponent, because they shouldn't be able to damge you early game.

With this build i also take health potions for early game sustain. If you do get hit by some harass, you can just drink a potion and stay in lane. This way, you won't lose cs.

If you read the above explanation for warding totems you should know why i like them. If both people in your lane have warding totems, your lane can be kept forever warded.

Core Items

I usually take Berserker's Greaves to boost Ashe's attack speed a bit to make last hitting minions easier. The extra movement speed also helps with chasing and running away from enemies.

I really like The Bloodthirster because it provides a bunch of extra attack damage. It also gives you lifesteal so you can survive a bit longer in teamfights, or have better lane sustain.

I take Last Whisper for the extra damage, because Ashe needs a lot of attack damage to be successful. Also, the armor pen. allows you to get through enemies who are building armor against you.

I buy Statikk Shiv because the extra attack speed allows for extra damage. The statikk arcs also allow for some extra damage to help clear minion waves better.

Late Game Items

I love infinity edge. It allows you to get so many critical hits and critical hits means double damage.

The Blade of the Ruined King also is an amazing item. It gives you Attack Damage, Attack Speed, and Life Steal.

More Defense

Randuin's Omen is a great item for reducing squishiness. It gives you bonus health and armor, and it makes you feel like an AD tank.

Gameplay

Early Game: During early game you must FARM, FARM, FARM!!!. Get the highest cs possible so you can become the mid to late game beast that Ashe is. While farming you should try to get a bit of harass in. A good Ashe player will be able to kill minions and harass with volley at the same time. Remember CS greater than Harass.

Mid Game: Try to get all the main objectives like dragon and baron, while keeping your cs up. Try to finish your build at around the 30-40 minute mark.

End Game: This is the time for Ashe to destroy. keep your distance in teamfights and make sure you land all of your slows. Make sure you use your ult in the beginning of the teamfight to stun everyone on the enemy team.

Summary

All in all, Ashe is a great AD carry for new and experienced players. She can 1 v 5 enemy teams if fed late game. She has great stuns and slows that allow her team to dominate in teamfights. As long as you have a good laning phase, you will dominate late game.
Special thanks to jhoijhoi for his guide on how to make a guide. This would have taken an eternity if it weren't for his guide.
