Hello & welcome to my Hecarim guide! My name is Digéstive, I'm a Gold V player from EUNE and this is my first guide.

The reason I made this guide is because I've finally gotten quite familiar with the new jungle and the changes to both it and Jungle Hecarim that arrived with the 5.1 patch notes. I have realized that Hecarim has become a really solid pick for the jungle due to the resent buffs Hecarim received in the 5.1 patch update, and thus I pushed Hecarim up the ladder to become one of my top priority jungle picks for SoloQ.

Although I recommend this more of a traditional rune page for more inexperienced Hecarim players:


I also recommend a more unusual offensive approach when it comes to choosing a different rune page for those who are already familiar enough with Jungle Hecarim and mastered his playstyle.
This rune setup isn't always suitable, it's very unreliable. You should stick to the safe side when you have bad match ups. But if you are confident enough and have great match ups this rune page will allow you do dominate mid-game. However this rune page isn't that great if you're falling behind others. It's a high risk, high reward rune page.




For masteries i run 21/0/9 taking 21 points in offense and 9 in utility.
