Introduction:

Hey guys, Wukong being a new champion and a popular one at that i decided to fiddle around with a few builds. My preferred style of champion is an off tank and i honestly think wukong fits the bill perfectly, i came up with this build which suits my play style and i hope it will help out anyone else who enjoys playing AD offtanks.

I would like to state that this is my own personal build which works for me, but it may not work for other people with different play styles, by all means give it a chance and see how it goes :)

Runes:

9x Armour Penetration Marks:
This is great early and late game for first blood and ploughing through tank builds, i think this is a must on wukong to get the most out of your ad.

9x Evasion Seals:
This stacked with the ninja tabis can really save your life, giving you a boost to your armour early along with a good chance of dodging enemy attacks and those minion agro attacks early game.

9x Focus Glyphs:
This will obviously lower your cooldowns, even a few seconds could save your life, whether it be a quick decoy get away, or finishing off a low enemy who would otherwise escape with nimbus strike.

3x Fortitude Quintessences:
These are great early game and compensate for not choosing a Doran item which i think is a waste of money unless it is massivley useful to your character.

Masteries:

I chose 21/9/0 giving a boost to the AD but at the same time giving us defences, the dodge masteries will stack with the boots and runes, and the MR and DR will stack with wukongs passive 'stone skin' giving good defense, while still able to whack out that damage.

Items:

Starting off with a long sword and a health potion will allow you to play a little aggressive early game, harrasing with you nimbus strike following crushing blow can really devastate and earn you some early kills.

Ninja Tabis:
As said earlier, these will stack with your runes and masteries for dodge chance which can really save your life at times and help out with early minion agro, the armour is also a nice defensive boost for early game.

Sword of the Occult:
The AD version of the Mejis soul stealer, this is a great item if used correctly, helping out your team in battles and gaining kills stacks your AD, earning 20 stacks gives you 15% movement speed and obviously a fat boost to your damage out put, this comes in very handy early and late game. The downside would be dying, you must play careful with this item as dying will loose stacks, but dying in general is bad so this item will encourage you to stay alive!

Zeal THEN Frozen mallet:
This will give Wukong a nice attack and movement speed boost which will help a lot considering the frozen mallet slows your oponent so the more hits you get in, the less chance your oponent has of escaping you. The frozen mallet also gives Wukong some much needed health and extra attack damage.

Phantom Dancer:
As covered above, this will just upgrade the zeal giving wukong more movement speed, attack speed and crit chance. Stacking this with nimbus strick will give an insane attack speed for a short burst of time.

Bloodthirster:
This will help out big time, as your next item is Tri-force which is the most expensive item in the game the bloodthirster will help you stay out in battle for much longer, feeding from creep waves which will heal and stack giving you a possible +40 bonus damage and 15% lifesteal.

Tri-Force:
This is a beauty of an item, and covers the whole spectrum, giving you movement speed, attack damage, crit chance, health, mana etc. But the most important part is the sheen, this will give your crushing blow massive damage and all other attacks after using an ability, it is a great item to end on and can really change the game.

Summoner Spells:

Exhaust/Ignight:

A great combination for ganking, and especially first blood.

Flash is not needed as decoy is a great escape technique.
Heal and clarity are for support classes.
Teleport can be used if no one else on the team has it.
All other summoner spells are not suited for this build unless absolutly neccesarry, or are preferred.

Summary:

If you look at the final stats, wukong has a nice amount of health just over 3400, a decent amount of armour and magic resist and a very good damage output being 386.6 doubled with sheen and doubled again on a crit, the attack speed is crazy after using a nimbus strike and if you take into account the sword of occult which can be stacked 20 times giving another possible 100 AD you can imagine the damage achievable here.

Again i hope you like it and enjoy the build, please feel free to leave me feedback.
