This is my very first guide, about my favorite champion: Wukong!
I have been playing him a lot over time in LoL, and I think he is one of the best solotop champs there is in league.

I take this one for the extra 5 AD and AP, which doesn't seem like much, but early on it can help last hitting allot

Just for some extra attack speed, because even a quarter of a second could save your life/kill an enemy...

Basically only helps last hitting early in the game

The AD per level will scale very nicely and just helps deal damage.

This will help allot more then you think thats 2% more damage from ALL your abilities and basic attacks! In end game when your ult does around 2000 damage, 2% will be 40 more damage, and these 40 damage might the HP of the enemy that just made it out of your range, and you won't be happy if you could have gotten that kill.

8% armor pen, ignores 8% of the total enemy armor. (200 armor = 16 ignored)

Flat AD, nuff said.


Ignores 6 of the enemies armor points, together with your runes that will be 11!

5% increased damage to targets below 50% HP, nothing to explain here.

For that extra scaling health. More health = tank more stuff!

Some early armor never hurts.

A very little MR, just so you can get veteran's scars.

I always start with Cloth Armor if I am laning against an AD, If you are up against an AP top like Poppy, you can also start with null magic cloak and 2 health potions. The early resist can help you sustain harass and therefore stay in lane longer, I also grab a couple of / Health/Mana potions to heal the little harass they will deal to you back up. The potions will also allow you to (if you get the level 2 advantage) go all in on the enemy laner very early.

After my first back port, I grab 2 Dorans Blades and fill up a with a couple of potions. The dorans will give you 160 health, 20 AD, and the 10 HP per hit, this will increase your sustain and damage output immensely. From now on try to find a good mix between harassing your enemy and last hitting the minions and if you are able to get another kill in lane, do so.

As soon as you hit the 1400 gold mark, push out the next wave then go back to base and buy your Phage. The 25% slow chance will proc more often then you think, if you harass the enemy, and see the little frost mark under his feet, keep hitting him if you can out damage him, with the slow on him you will probably be able to get enough hits to either bring him below 50% HP or get another slow onto him. If the next slow procs try to go for the kill, if not just go back to last hitting and wait for him to come closer to you. If you time it right you will be able to to get an E,AA,Q onto him and the ult+ignite him to death.

If you farmed well enough and got 1-2 kills, you will be bale to get your brutalizer by the 13-15 minute mark. I also recommend getting your boots of speed either before or after the brutalizer. Your armor pen will be very high and you shouldn't have any problems killing your enemy now.

Upgrade your phage, 100% slow chance, 700 Health, 30AD, everything you need to start destroying everyone in the teamfight phase.

Upgrade your brutalizer now to get that hell of an armor shred, which will also apply with your ultimate, meaning you will destroy any enemy's armour with your Q+Cleaver ( even malphites!).

1000 HP. This will make it almost impossible for anyone to kill you from now on, also the HP reg is crazzzzy.

MOAR AD! around now your health should have hit the 4000 mark

For your last item I recommend getting Maw of Malmartius, since it gives you that final bit of magic resist to round of your tankiness, also the shield can save you from great deals of magic damage, like LeBlanc's burst.

Dont forget to buy potions!

We max out E first, because it gives u the jump, and the attack speed. If you ask why not max Q first, I will just say that the nuke stays the same and wont rise with every level. Of course level up your ultimate as soon as you can. your W wont scale with AD and therefore we only take 1 point in it early so we can juke out the enemies

Flash: Flash, the best thing in the game, just take it, great gap closer and a great escape.

Ignite: You can choose to take ignite if you have a jungler with good CC like Maokai, or if u just want to deal more damage

Exhaust: For better ganks and more control over the enemy in the laning phase, if you want to play it save or against a very high AD/Attack speed champion. It is also very useful when your jungler comes to gank making it almost impossible for him to escape.

  • Stone Skin: Stone skin. This is probably one of the best passives in the game, just imagine being surrounded by 5 enemies, and suddenly your armor and magic resist go up by 40 each! That's and insane amount in teamfights, it allows you to almost tank everything!
  • Crushing Blow (Q): Epic nuke, 30% armor drop + high damage (scales 1.1 to your AD). In close combat, using it before your E will greatly increase its damage.
  • deoy Decoy (W): Best juke in game! Use this to trick your enemies and play around with them, buy some time for your teammates to arrive, get away from enemies, endless possibilities. Also pressing "s" while moving or attacking will have the same effect as if you pressed "w", use this to drive your enemies crazy!
  • Nimbus Strike (E): Perfect gap closer, use it to jump towards enemies, or their minions, combine it with your W to juke the living hell out of them! Also it will give you very nice attack speed steroid.
  • Cyclone (R): Alot like 's E, just allot more powerful and it will knock up enemies! Timing this well in teamfights can destroy any team! SPIN TO WIN!

We take these for the tenacy and the magic resist, because it is the only MR item we are getting early.

This is an epic item, and the best thing is, its passive procs with your Q, giving you a semi-ranged slow. Its an core item for wukong since it gives the AD he needs, the HP he need, and that epic slow.

This item is just really nice, because its passive procs with your ultimate, making you the ultimate armor shredder. I mean 15 armor per second gone, over 4 seconds, your ultimate will deal more damage each hit!

Just the 1000 HP Wukong needs to survive the biggest of teamfights. Also the HP regeneration is very nice, enabling him to take all the pokes the enemy team has to offer.

Just some more armor to reduce the damage the enemy ADC deals to you, and increasing your damage, if you have 4000 HP, 1.5% more damage is a hell lot.

In teamfights, you need to intiate with your W, E combo, then try to get onto the enemy carrys and SPIN TO WIN! If you arent able to get onto the carrys, just SPIN TO WIN anyway!

As the fight ends, chase down the low health or squishy enemies.
