I have one BIG question. Why on Earth do you have so much ArPen? You build Last Whisper first which already knocks down 40% of TOTAL armor then you have Youmuu's Ghostblade. These two items give enough ArPen for anyone. If you cannot break through their armor at this point then you are never going to get through it.

Building The Black Cleaver and The Brutalizer is a waste of time and money.

You only need the 15% CDR also. Going beyond that is not worth it since your Cooldowns are already lowered a good amount. So buying another The Brutalizer is a waste. So that is 2 areas in which a second one is a waste.


Also Hextech Gunblade does not benefit Wukong as much as you think it does. The spell vamp is not worth the price of the item. You run in with Cyclone with one purpose ONLY, to create/initiate a team fight or turn the tides of one. Cyclone's damage is very good and is not to be underestimated but the true point of it is the knock-up as it is Wukong's only natural form of CC.

I cannot disagree with you more on how Trinity Force affects Wukong. There are champions out there that people say to get it on that really do not need it however with Wukong that is not the case. Wukong is one of the most beneficial champions of Trinity Force there is.

1. Sheen makes your Crushing Blow hurt like a Motherf*cker plus dealing extra damage to turrets.

2. Phage provides health and a slow that will allow you to slow your enemy and give enough time for Nimbus Strike and Crushing Blow to get off Cooldown

3. Zeal provides faster attack speed which helps with farming, provides movement speed making you a faster monkey which works well with the movement speed bonus of Cyclone, and also goes great with the attack speed bonus that Nimbus Strike offers.

Is it expensive? Yes but it is a great investment for this champion. You do not know how many times I end up dominating with nothing but Regrowth Pendant, Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Trinity Force. I have ended games with enemies surrendering with just those 3 items so many times with me being the most farmed and fed in kills/assists.

Also with regards to Hextech Gunblade your build makes you to squishy for it to be beneficial. All you need is to be stunned by Sona or Sejuani and you cannot live through the assault with your current build set up.


This was just some constructive criticism. I did not vote on the guide so I figured I would offer my thoughts. I recommend archiving this guide until it is finished though or just make a new one. Copy and paste your info and then keep expanding and publish it when you are at least 85% finished with it.

@BlackIceT Actually, this is how I play my Wukong. Maybe for some it's just a waste of time but I have led many victories for my team with this build. I focused on armor penetration more because I wanted to penetrate even tanks on team clashes but killing tanks is not may priority. As it can only hurt them BIG TIME. Not only that, it can even reduce the base armor of squishy champs. With Spell Vamp from Hextech Gunblade, Wukong's ultimate can heal him per hit per second for 4 second and he can stay for the whole duration to make huge damage. And about the thing with either Sona or Sejuani, yeah I did encountered them many times in battle but never they did landed CC on me since I know how to take care of their disables. I will state in this guide on how to become tactful from start to late game since I rarely die with this build sometimes not at all.

Even if without Critical Damage my Q can half the HP of any squishy champion even 3/4 of their whole HP. I will post many videos regarding how strong this guide is. And I suggest they try this guide till they master it.

For me rushing Trinity Force for me really is a waste of time, well for me, but I do believe most of them love to rush it.

I've tried your build. I actually chatted the enemy "Where's your armor" cause every time I got close enough to hit them, their HP bars REALLY FELT IT. Nice Guide hope you make a Riven guide soon :) TEE-HEE.

Riven? Okay I'll try to make 1 for her after I'm done with this guide as she is also 1 of my main champs. I love using Riven especially tower diving and base diving the enemy. lol

@BlackIceTYeah, you have your points, but Trinity Force on Wukong seems quite expensive if you weren't fed early game. Phage-yeah slow and HP, just get a red buff slow on every hit or build a Frozen mallet rather than Trinity Force for more health and slow. Sheen- with TONS of armor pent. why do you need the proc? Zeal- Your third skill provides an attack speed bonus and has a low cool down late game.Anyways every person has his/her opinion and the build is based on what the author feels as provides most damage. And the spellvamp will counter the squishyness. Crowd Control? dodge it then ,its not the author's problem if you can't dodge CC. The Spellvamp IS worth it, SS initiate? you wasted the damage of Wukong's Cyclone. Passives: An item that has an ability that works automatically, like a passive ability. Many passives are Unique, meaning that they will not stack multiple times from the same item. with that i can say that buying Brutalizer is not a waste. THAT'S ALL :)
