I take mark penetration runes to give early damage output and give good armor penetration against tanks with high armor and defensive seals and glyphs to give him survivability throughout the game.

For my masteries i go for 21 in the Defense tree to get the important to help my survivability with Wukong through the entire game and 9 point in Utility for increased experience and ghost

The stop juke which is when a player who is playing Wukong is running away from enemies and then hits the "S" button by default to stop in place and attempting to fool them into thinking that you had used your Decoy skill, well yes this may work on some people but most of the time when people are targeting you they will see that you still have Item's on you and buffs if you have them so they wont be falling for it unless they are clueless. So what I'm trying to say is unless you're playing against idiots don't do it because you might get CC'd by snares stuns slows etc.. causing your death.

At first Wukong seems like a very bursty champion which is true in a way but after playing games with Wukong I noticed that his other ability such as boosting your attack speed with nimbus strike and shredding 30% armor with his Q allow him to be great at taking out tanks that might be hard for your other carry's.
