Wukong is most definitely able to jungle. Along with fighting, Carrying, and smashing down the whole enemy team within seconds. Along with his awesome armor passive and with this build Its amazing. Wukong is known for going against multiple opponent's at once and that is why he is Crowned the Monkey King.
I hope you enjoy my build.
Jungling/ Why the items and runes work.
Now for Wukong, You want to go with cloth armor and 5 potions and head off to blue. Yes you will need a leash since Wukong will be damaged hard if there isn't a leash. But after that leash you will sustain Absolutely Awesome. With the cooldown runes you shall be able to cast spells and spells. With the Greater Mark of Alacrity runes you shall sustain damage and speed during the jungle. Armor is recommended and just the basic runes for Wukong's seals. After blue you can go to dogs, wraiths, double golems, Then red. Wukong shall sustain quite well. You might be damaged a little bit by lv 3/4 so go back and buy Madred's Razors as fast as you can and get into the jungle. Grab the part of the jungle with the most exp and lead for a gank.
So yes you want to rush for Wriggle's Lantern and Mercenary Treads since Mercenary Treads will allow you to smoothly get into a gank.
Greater Marks of Alacrity for easy jungling. (Plus it doesn't hurt a build)
Greater Seal of Resilience because its just basic plus it works with wukongs passive and Wit's End adds magic resistance.
Have at least 6 Greater Glyphs of Focus's Therefor it helps with flat cooldown. 3 Greater Glyphs of Celerity will help late game
3 Greater Quintessence of Desolation's will add 10 Armor penetration therefore adding damage for Wukong.
Yes the runes do seem a bit original but it helps with overall sustainability.
When you take Vamperism within offense it will allow you to get lifesteal on Jungle Monsters. Always take the pure damage, Ghost and Executioner in offense will help Wukong deal more damage within his ultimate and sustain its movement.
Taking Bladed Armor will damage jungle monsters. With Vigor to sustain and 2 stats in Armor it will allow you to sustain in the jungle.
Some people love going for the extra movement speed in utility but without your defense you can't sustain as good in the jungle. but when you lane with wukong I love movement speed in utility.
Wukong is most definitely a DPS/Carry/Fighter. Therefore after getting your Wriggle's Lantern and Mercenary Treads, Wit's End and Trinity Force. Trinity Force will allow more health, Attack speed, and Double Damage with Crushing Blow. Get an Infinity Edge which will give you an ending 70% crit. Next just finish off your Youmuu's Ghostblade since it is the last item you should get for Wukong. If you want to get rid of Wriggle's Lantern for a Bloodthirster for late game combat that is also great.
It all depends on how the late game goes but you should be fine with the build above.
The reason why you want to max out Nimbus Strike is for the extra attack speed you gain allowing you to help you jungle. Its cooldown will also help you harass.
You want to grab your Crushing Blow at level 2 so you can deal more extra damage to the biggest jungle creep that you are going at. (Such as hitting the biggest wraith, or the biggest dog).
Grabbing your Decoy at level 4 will help you get into a gank for your team.
Once you are level 6 you should be able to gank with Wukong's ultimate with no problems.
But continuing to max out your Nimbus Strike and Crushing Blow shall give you massive damage. Decoy should be maxed last since it is mainly used for getting out of tight spots and really isn't your main AD Damage Source.
Smite: will allow you to grab more gold for you and it will help you a lot to grab your blue along with someone leashing for you.
Ghost: will allow you to pull off fast ganks and sustain your movement speed, It also gets you out of tight spots.
Ignite: Swapping ghost with Ignite is also a very good choice if you need that extra Oomph to get that kill.
So to sum this up, This guide will help your overall sustainability. The items you get will increase your durability and damage per hit. Once you get your last items (Infinity Edge and Blood Thirster.) You should have damage that will smash your enemy team to shreds.
Enjoy my Experienced build.
