Introduction

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Hello to my first guide in mobafire on League of Legends, this time I would like a closer look at the latest champion of the league, "Wukong - The Monkey King".

Wukong is a melee character like any other, he combines the charm of many of the Champions in the League like Xin Zhao, Garen or Shaco.

Pros / Cons

Pros.

Great Pusher
Great Damage
Can not be killed so quickly or easily
With Mates like and his Ultimate combinies with your
ultimate takes with luck 5 persons for many seconds out of the game.

Cons.

With an or is your useless.
Characters like with an
you won´t be have it so easy.

Masteries

and to stay lil bit more tanky. In the startgame I can stay so really long on a lane without to port back. So I can handle it very good with enemies like Jarvan or Rumble top, who also don´t have any liferegg. passive or spells, lifesteal passive or spells like Trundle or Warwick.

Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation To handle more damage.

To avoid maybe some autoattacks or minion hits who would kill me ;<

Alternative:

to go more tanky.

to go more tanky.

To get more Life on start and be a little bit more tanky.

Summoner Spells

Prefered:

Is an awesome spell that allows you to jump over walls, it´s also offensively and defensively, I prefer it over Ghost because you are not rly a ghost you can´t walk through walls you can be slowed the whole time with flash not. A long CD but still very good.

Must have for Sololanes, fights vs. Jungler with lifesteal like warwick or udyr, must have for fights vs. characters like tryndamere, mundo, vladimir and so many others.

Optional:

in combination with flash.
in combination with flash.
in combination with flash. Sololane not needed but useful
in combination with flash. Heavy CC team great (you see it in rankeds)

"Useless":
all are not rly useless but with wukong not so usefull like with others

You dont rly have an stun to do that so much as possible to get kills with it
Normally your Mana is enough
Normally the supporter takes it
Jungling is possible but every jungler is faster etc.

Totally Useless:

-
Just for an backdooring character

Character Spells

Now let us take a closer look at the Spells of .

Stone Skin

's Passive is great, for each enemy in your near you get 4/6/8 Armor+Magic resist. Means: In teamfights 5vs5 you stay in the endgame with 40+ Armor+Magic resist for nothing.

Crushing Blow

is partly as Siphoning Strike, the next auto attack deals 30/60/90/120/150 Damage and reduces the armor by 30% for 3 seconds. Like on is an must have item. This spell works like or Siphoning Strike even on Tower, too.

Decoy

It is in part a great combination of the spells of , you go invisible (although only for short period) and you can return a decoy for a short period, and it makes damage after few seconds. A very well-made escape spell.

Nimbus Strike

is like 's just to many times stronger. to jump on the opponent, there is a bonus attack speed.

Cyclone

is a combination of 's and 's Knockup (Three of his Talon Strike).
can knockup any opponent once in the air.

Items

Let's take a deeper look at the items for .

At start I prefer (just on a lane with an mate)
apart from this fact you should buy (for example on a solo lane).

The Next Part are boots:

I prefer or

Why ? Because you can handle a bit the Dodge and the armor should not be underestimated.

Why ? No really good question, everyone knows the strength to take advantage of this passive.

Now we go the Part´s and the buy order of :

I start with then then (the step from Zeal to Trinity Force isn´t very expensive so..).

Why that order?

Because I´m not a jungler oO my minions (Champions)
don´t stay the whole time on a place, so i can´t max on and hit them the whole time.. Why as Second and not as first or third?

Because I get of this more mana and my hit´s the whole time with the double damage. So why not as first? Cause the Slow of still is better then pure damage, instead of that we go on max because doesn´t hit just one Enemy.

With and we go more and more Tanky but hold the massive damage.

We go the whole Time on Life and take of the damage of it.. Why we go now on Lifesteal with ? Because of the Combination of Armory, Magic resist, (maybe crowd controle reuction), Life and damage. With pure damage and Spells like we are nearly immortal.

at least is just an massive Damage boost at least.

Between the time you can buy 's, 's, Sight Ward's, 's (for enemies like Wukong on the sololane) and 's

Optional Items

Alternative Damage Item´s:

Youmuu's Ghostblade
Last Whisper
The Black Cleaver
Madred's Bloodrazor

If the whole enemieteam goes on Armor and Life.

Alternative Tanky Item´s:

Thornmail
Force of Nature
Banshee's Veil

Like passive before everyone knows what they do :)

Early Game

Sololane:

I prefer it, because you have with your 746 Health; (766 with ); 23 Armor (10 more with ) 51 Magic Resist (4/6/8 more per Enemy) ;8% Dodge a heavy Start. With an Sight ward placed by your own Jungler you can also Push and harrase your Enemy Sololaner and kill him alone or you let help you from your jungler. But be careful: If your Minions are Pushin, you don´t have an Sight ward and are just 4 or something like that stand in Tall Grass if the Enemy Jungler want to gank then, you can decoy and you are save.

Premate Lane:

Normally that doesn´t happen, but you don´t play the whole time Rankeds or with Premates.
So: Great Startmates for a doublelane with is , , etc. for the slows, for the taunts on the enemies, and for the Speedbuff, heal and shield (totally prefer ). Harassment is the Same like on a Solo.

Mid Game

In the mid game I normally Stand on this Build:

, , , Tier 2 Boots.
Max your , and help your mates on the Lanes.
Please don´t come to the idea to Jungle, you have an jungler so ask him.

Teamfights:

You don´t have to initiate normally , and many others are better then you, like I said before the greatest Combination is if initiats, then you jump in with your , he stuns, , , that kicks the enemy team for ca. 4 seconds out of the game. If you luck this Combination the Teamfight is won. If not and you have to run with your mates, and they chase your mates go in, if they change their chase on you.

Here is a video, made in an co-op game to show it. There is an dead , initiats, I jump in and do my and to this [icon=Gankplank size=40} do his Ultimate.

Detailed Harrasment and Rotation

The Standard "Rotation" of your Spells is , Autohit, , your resets your autohit so you can make more damage.

Why this Rotation? With it´s so an extremly damage output,
you autoattack after (double damage because of sheen ), reset your autoattack with and autoattack with the power of and .
