I disagree, looking at all situations where I square off against an opposing Wukong and he builds high AD I laugh in their faces as they tickle me. Not even going into the fact that wukong can be seriously ruined by CC, building him tanky is the best way to throw punches while taking hits.

I personally do not thing this is a very good build for Wukong. Although he is indeed a tanky DPS, this build focusses 70% of it's items into building a tank which Wukong is not. Your AD when the build is finished is laughable (both builds) and even though you have some armour penetration and an Atma's your damage and overall usefulness is far cry from what it can and should be.

I can personally vouch for this guide multiple times as Ive been playing with him since day one. His Wukong is awesome and is nice and tanky as well as a hard-hitter.

Also, I'm another Nimbus Strike maxing fan :D Some people prefer Crushing Blow 1st.

Also, got a quadra kill with a very similar build. It was an overall very impressive game 28-4-15 :D

I have contemplated Tiamat, but feel that if I were to go that route I would need to build more attack speed. At that point I figured my entire build would shift from tanky AD, which is my preferred playstyle. I'll try it out and get back to you on what I think about it. Also, on the stuff about sunfire, I feel that it is supremely useful in correlation with his ult as it gives extra AOE damage. Also, since I go tanky and tend to initiate I feel that the extra AOE does wonders in teamfights.

good guide, have some comments though,
sunfire cape is a horrible waste of loads of money. the aoe is 99% useless, if you are taking that long to kill someone, that the aoe damage is actually useful, you are doing something wrong. you are paying 800g for a tiny tiny bit of armor and 35 magic damg, lowered by magic resist too.

if you want it for farming, get tiamats instead, you may get 2 if you like. this is way better for farming then wriggles and also more useful later game, you will end up selling wriggles.
