The fact that Tri-Force isnt in this build deserves an auto-downvote, but whatever. I took the liberty of trying it out in-game. Not only is this build very expensive and you will probably never get to the end of it, but you're sacrificing WAY too much damage to get so-called "tanky", which isnt much.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: Wukong can operate without Tri-Force, but you are voluntarily preventing yourself from being a 100% effective Wukong.

You wait too long to get Decoy.

Even with Atmogs you're a squishy tank or a weak dps.

i get decoy at 5 as personal preference i also stated that you can get it at lv 4 no problem I simply choose to get it at lv 5.

obviously you didn't read the guide where i gave my reasons for not using tri-force. Wukong can close gaps pretty easily and escape fairly well without getting boots early. Did you even try my build before you downvoted? or just saw that i didn't use tri-force and auto-downvote?

I play with Skredge all the time, and I've seen him build this Wukong many times before. He is very viable early game, and completely destroys late game. I definitely recommend this build to anyone looking for high damage output while still having a very good amount of health.

Skredge- fake accounts are first 5 comments joined same date and only voted yes and commented I will report this guide

If you had a brain, you'd look anybody who you thought was suspicious up in game and see our profiles. How stupid can you be? Yes, we made our accounts today and this is the first thing we commented on. Maybe he asked us to join and take a look at the guide and give honest feedback?

Sorry about the massively disgusting amount of text I lobbed at you. I tend to ramble. Keep up the good work though!

Nice guide. I too, am a believer that Wukong plays best as a tanky dps. I have a few untested ideas, suggestions, and the like, that i'll throw at you. Take them with a grain of salt. As far as items go, I love the idea of rushing to Warmog's / Atma's, but if you're expecting the game to go a bit longer, the Avarice Blade that builds into Ghostblade pays for itself after 25 minutes. I might consider getting this, possible even before boots, unless you really need the movement speed. (not the ghostblade. I like the idea of saving that for last). As for masteries, if you go with dodge runes (which I love on my melees), I'd toss the points from defensive mastery, and from Ardor, in place of Evasion and Nimbleness. Wukong doesn't really make a great use of Ardor. Most of his damage, i find, comes from his burst from his E and Q. I'd also drop 1 out of perseverance and add it to good hands. The first point in perseverance is the most important one, as it adds 2%. the other two points only add 1% each. Regarding skill sequences, I find I have mana issues if I level Nimbus Strike too quickly. I also feel that, for burst damage, crushing blow is a much more valuable tool. Because of this, I max it first... though I do open with a point in Nimbus Strike. I then get a point in Decoy at level 4, just to be safe, and max Nimbus strike second.

All in all, great guide. I like it a lot more than all the ones that attempt to build a Trinity force. I find that to be a waste of cash on Wukong. I'd much rather just build a Frozen Mallet.
Best of luck with the guide -- Cheers!

good point on the dodge masteries i will make an alternate build on here to show them in the build. and as far as arvice blade, that could be another route to go. I've tried it and found it doesn't make that much of a difference because most of my game don't last maybe 30 min. i can usually get atmogs and boots of speed between the 20 - 25 min mark and thats when I start dealing a lot of damage and pushing lanes quickly with my team however if it seems like the match might last a bit longer i might try to use it again so yes i agree it is very viable.

as far as leveling crushing blow over nimbus that is understandable too but my skill order is just personal preferance. I would however encourage anyone reading that no matter how they skill up to only put one point into decoy either lv 4 or 5 and level it up last

i'm not very savy with the forum stuff so will try to get everyone one in this post

The Siren- philo stone isn't really necissarry unless your spamming your skills too much you can effectively harrass by poking with nimbus use it on just champs and only use crushing blow when you have enough time to poke them again before you get a tower shot. and if you are just wanting a gold per 5 item get arvice blade early as suggested above.

sirspanksalot- i made this guide specifically for those who wanted something other than trinity force. I have no problem with trinity force i just prefer atmogs is a better route for me.

thank you all for your posts I will try to continue to keep up with the comments :)
